The campus life leads to an freedom experience with no restriction and 24 hours accessible labs and libraries and sports complex with muching vending machines and free coffee that you get by yourself through coffee machine and green tea. It makes a complete world of academics with enjoyment and relaxation time by booking classes for studies or movie nights, it ensure you to manage your own schedule. You will never feel scared to roam aroud campus till 3 am night its full with security and night owls students indulge in gossips, laugh and having tea and food from cafeterias inside campus that is open till 3am and it gets extended during exam time. There is no curfew time or restricted entry of boys or girls in going outside campus or hostel entry.

Campus life is so good; you will be going to meet different smart people from different parts of the nation and world. In this college, there is a problem with the "Student Come First" policy, which means all the rules are constructed for the betterment of the students. Talking about the infrastructure of colleges, there are some old hostels and new hostels.

There are many cultural and technical events happening on the campus throughout the year. The major cultural events are Blithchron - the cultural event generally conducted in the month of February and Amalthea - The flagship annual technical summit which is conducted in the month of November. There is a proper library where all kinds of books, and journals are available. Sports facilities are also very good and students are encouraged to take at least one sport. There are various student-run clubs in our institute, there is a club for almost everything some of which include music, dance, coding, etc.

Campus life is good because of so many clubs and good nature. There are so many clubs in IIT Gandhinagar like singing, Dancing, acting, photography, etc. Sports facilities are also good. Every kind of sports are available. We can enjoy lot with our friends in campus.

Social life at IIT GN is very vibrant and welcoming. We have our annual technical summit, Amalthea, conducted in November, and our cultural yearly fest, Blithchron, conducted in the month of February. We have an average-sized library consisting of many books. Classrooms are fully air-conditioned with projectors and whiteboards. Our sports complex contains an athletic track, an Olympic-sized swimming pool, three squash courts, six badminton courts, and one indoor basketball and volleyball court. Independent clubs like MAPRC and some under-student councils like Vinteo and 16Pixels have a strong presence on campus.

As it IIT campus life is very amazing, IIT gandhinagar cultural fest named as blithchron and it's technical summit named as amalthea happen in the month of November. In the library there over 2800 book and journals. We have one of best sports complex, we have an Olympic size athletic track, 2 football and 2 cricket ground, volleyball ball court, basketball, badminton court and a swimming pool. There are many clubs like Dance club - step up Music club - sargam Drama club - abhinaya Photography club - 16 pixels And many more.

The academic blocks buildings are very beautiful and modern. All classrooms are equipped with projectors or smart boards and are fully air conditioned. And wifi is available across the entire campus. IITGN has two libraries one is mini library which is located in Hostel area and is open 24\7, and second is main library which is located in Academic blocks there is a vast collection of journals and books for all age groups. And on every table there is electric Switch for charging laptops and phones. and there are group study rooms in the main library. The main fest organized here are Blithchron (cultural and technical fest), Hackathon (tech fest) , Sankalp (Social Awareness Fest) and Hallabol (Sports Fest). And Amalthea is India's first student run annual technical summit.

IIT Gandhinagar permanent campus has three rough divisions i.e. Academic Block, Housing Block, and Student Hostel. Amalthea is the first annual technical summit organized by students in India hosted by IIT Gandhinagar in November and Blithchron is a two-day cultural festival hosted by IITGN in February. IITGN hosts an all-night intra-institute sports festival known as Hallabol. It has an international standard sports complex. The student housing consists of six hostel buildings that may house both undergraduate and graduate students. Each block has a capacity of roughly 200 students and has a common reading room and hostel library. The dining space includes a central café with outdoor seating, two separate mess halls, and a central dining facility for all students. Hostels are modern are equipped with carts, beds, tables, chairs, study lamps, and cupboards. Mess food is nutritious and tasty. The library is d and has more collections of books.

Blithchron and Amalthea are the fests held here. Usually, Amalthea (Anuual Tech fest) will held between September - November for 2 days, and Blithchron (Cultural fest) will held between February - March for 2 days. All types of books including novels and journals are availabile in the library. The library members will give an account and access to the library online website and also premium Grammarly account for free for students. Chess club, Odyssey astronomy club, weekly coding challenges, and much more are run by senior students. The food quality was sometimes not good enough. Every day, there will be juices in the snacks, which was pretty good.

The campus is beautiful, and the two fests bring it to life. Amalthea (technically a summit) and Blithchron (cultural fest) are completely student-organized, which means students get a chance to organize and manage a fest while also connecting with people from around the country. The amenities are some of the best across the country, and we can see it as IIT Gandhinagar conducted inter-IIT aquatics this year, proving how good the amenities are and also the hostels, library, and student lounge are all top class.
