SIES College of Arts, Science, and Commerce is inviting applications for PhD Admission 2024. Candidates can submit their application form at the SIES Mumbai Campus before January 6, 2025. The application fee of INR 100 needs to be paid at the college cash counter.

SIES Mumbai PhD Eligibility

• Candidates qualified in the PhD Entrance Test (PET) conducted by the University of Mumbai are eligible.
• Candidates fulfilling the below-listed criteria are exempted from the PET :
  • Candidates who have qualified in national-level tests including UGC-NET, UGC-CSIR-NET, SET, GATE, INSPIRE, or hold JRF from apex bodies (CSIR/UGC/ICAR/ICMR/DBT/DST/ICSSR).
  • Candidates who have completed their M.Phil programme from the University of Mumbai or any other recognized University are exempted from the PET.
  • Candidates who hold a Ph.D degree from the University of Mumbai or any other recognized University.

• Eligible candidates must appear for an interview with the Research Advisory Committee (RAC), where they will present their proposed research topic and statement of purpose.

• Candidates must meet with the Research Guide/Ph.D Supervisor to get their application form endorsed, which then needs approval from the Head of the concerned department before submission to the college office.
• List of selected candidates will be displayed on both the notice board and the college website, these candidates must then meet with their Research Guide/Ph.D Supervisor to discuss admission and registration procedures.
