University of Engineering & Management, Jaipur is a one stop university that ensures every student under its BPT (Physiotherapy) program is not only taught well but also enriched with the much needed practical exposure by providing them sponsored postings at medical centres in the likes of hospitals and big clinics.

The claim is fortified through Vice Chancellor Dr Biswajoy Chatterjee's own words, "I believe that the responsibility of a University does not end by only teaching its students, and not even by providing them placements. University needs to ensure that its students are fully ready for the job that they are going to do the industry at all levels."

As a result, students of 3rd and 4th year studying BPT (Physiotherapy) at UEM Jaipur are currently undergoing their first month of clinical postings.

The 3rd year students are practising at Shalby Hospitals where regularly they are exposed to different wards and ICUs. The students get the opportunity to witness live surgical procedures majorly joint replacements. In joint replacement, the arthritic or damaged joints are replaced with materials like metal, plastic or a ceramic device called a prosthesis. This helps bring back the natural function of the affected joints enabling the individual to lead a healthy life. The most common joint replacements involve the hip and knee. However, the procedure can also be performed on other joints — elbow, wrist, ankle and shoulders. Through UEM Jaipur’s efforts, students witness these operations and successfully equip themselves with learning under the guidance of Dr. Imran Khan.

Likewise, the 4th year students are posted at Jaipur Physiotherapy and Re-Life Rehabilitation Centre. There, the students deal with conditions of orthopaedic and neurological through multiple assessments and clinical diagnosis. The orthopaedic disorders are concerned with the bone framework in the body. Additionally, a healthy musculoskeletal (bone and muscle) system helps to move the body as well as keep it upright. Congenital orthopaedic disorders primarily include treatment for clubfoot, scoliosis, and hip dysplasia while musculoskeletal ones result from strenuous activities leading to broken bones, sprains and strains. On the other hand, those neurological; concerned with the nervous system aid in relaying the body's voluntary and involuntary actions by using the brain, spinal cord and nerves. A congenital disorder may result in a condition of epilepsy, cerebral palsy, and spina bifida among others. Here too, the students practice under the guidance of their teacher Dr. Madhu Teotia and gain hands-on experience in dealing with the disorders mentioned.
