Vivekananda Global University, Jaipur successfully hosted the IIC Regional Meet 2025, marking another important milestone in its efforts to strengthen India’s innovation and startup ecosystem.

The regional meet is organized at Vivekananda Global University, Jaipur under the joint support of the Innovation Cell, AICTE, Ministry of Education, Government of India, the one-day meet brought together more than 500+ innovators, startup founders, institutional leaders, faculty members and students from Rajasthan and neighbouring states.

The regional meet aimed to encourage innovation-driven thinking in:-

• Higher education institutions
• Promote policy-level discussions
• Strengthen startup support systems
• Enable the exchange of best practices under the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) framework.

Overview of the Inaugural Ceremony

• The programme began with a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony.
• Senior officials from AICTE Innovation Cell, Ministry of Education and the university administration jointly inaugurated the event.
• Prof. (Dr.) N. D. Mathur, Vice-Chancellor, VGU, described the occasion as a matter of pride and wished success to young innovators and entrepreneurs.
• Dr. K. R. Bagaria, Vice Chairperson, emphasised that entrepreneurship plays a key role in societal development and student empowerment.
