Woxsen’s International Education was selected as one of the 47 PRME champions worldwide. PRME Champions is a global collective of business and management schools that aims to raise the bar for sustainable business education on a global scale.

Woxsen University proudly announces its recognition as one of the distinguished PRME champions for the year 2024 and solidifies its position among the top 47 global business schools that are committed to advancing sustainable business education. For the second year in a row, it has been included in the prestigious Principles for Responsible Management Education Champions (PRME), an initiative of the United Nations Global Compact.

The PRME Champions is a group of dedicated business and management schools that are committed to collaboratively working to develop and promote activities that address shared barriers for PRME community, and which deliver value for business & society at large. Such collaboration that has been taken previously includes the Climate Literacy Training for Business Schools, the formulation of Blueprint for SDG Integration, the establishment of its extended library, and more.

Woxsen will actively contribute to the 2024-2025 Champion Programme to advance the recommitment to refreshed seven principles of PRME. It includes engagement in the Thematic Roundtables focusing on generating innovative ideas and solutions to institutional challenges within business schools supporting the PRME strategy. It aligns with the vision of the United Nations Global Compact in completing actions towards achieving Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs).

PRME programme is a flagship program and the champions initiative provides a platform for the faculty members to collaborate, develop and share educational methods as it acts as a ‘Living Lab’ for the new ideas that focus on sustainable development for the next generation. The business schools and management-related higher education institutions support the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The Champions play a vital role in curating content for the upcoming PRME Commons, a digital platform that facilitates accountability, exchanges, and learning among members of the PRME community.
