With only three days remaining for the commencement of CUET UG 2025, as per the scheduled date, the National Testing Agency (NTA) still hasn't published the formal examination schedule. According to the initial announcement, the Common University Entrance Test for Undergraduate programmes (CUET UG 2025) was originally planned to take place from May 8 to June 1, 2025. The new reports now from Times of India indicate that the exam would likely start on May 13, five days behind the proposed date.

As per reports, the new exam dates have been decided by the NTA and the CUET UG 2025 is expected to continue till the first week of June. Yet, there has been no official notification on the NTA portal — cuet.nta.nic.in — till date. The city intimation slips, which will intimate candidates about their exam city and subject-wise schedule, are expected to be announced by Tuesday or Wednesday.

Changes in CUET UG 2025
The University Grants Commission (UGC) and NTA have made several changes in the exam pattern for 2025:
- CUET UG 2025 will be conducted only in CBT mode, as opposed to last year's hybrid mode.
- The number of testable subjects has come down from 63 to 37.
- 20 languages and 6 domain subjects have been eliminated.
- Admissions for the eliminated subjects will now depend on the General Aptitude Test score.
With such significant changes and mounting logistical issues, students are recommended to visit the official website on a regular basis for the latest developments and city intimation slips, which are likely to provide clarity on subject-wise exam dates and center locations.
