According to reports, the National Testing Agency (NTA) admitted that biometric verification was not conducted at the entry gates of CUET exam centres. While Aadhaar verification was completed during registration for 96% of the 13.54 lakh candidates, biometric photographs were taken only inside the exam halls due to time constraints. This led to a verification gap affecting nearly 4% of the candidates, raising concerns over exam security and identity validation.

Reports have highlighted significant inconsistencies in the number of candidates appearing per shift for various CUET 2025 subjects. Examples include:

• Physics: One shift had 4,940 candidates, while another had just 570.

• Mathematics/Applied Mathematics: Attendance ranged from 10,260 to 3,780 across shifts.

• General Aptitude Test: Candidate count varied from 5,520 in one session to only 880 in another.

Such disparities raise concerns about the fairness of the percentile-based normalisation process, as it relies on having statistically comparable sample sizes across all shifts for equitable score calculation.

The delay in the declaration of CUET 2025 results may impact several key academic processes, including:

• Postponement of Admission Process: Universities may have to push back their admission timelines, affecting academic calendars.

• Delay in Counselling: Centralised or university-level counselling may not begin on time, leaving candidates in uncertainty.

• Uncertainty in Seat Allotment: Without final scores, colleges cannot proceed with seat allocation, causing delays in confirming admissions.

This pattern suggests that the CUET 2025 result may also follow a similar timeline.

The CUET 2025 result date is yet to be announced, and the declaration has been delayed. Although the NTA released the provisional answer key 14 days ago, candidates are still waiting for the final answer key and the official scorecard PDF.

1. Visit the Official Admission Portal

2. Registration & Preference Filling
   Register for counselling by entering your CUET application details.
   Fill in your preferred courses and colleges (you are advised to select the maximum number of combinations to increase your chances).

3. Check Merit Lists / CUET Cut-offs
   Participating universities will release merit lists or cut-off scores based on CUET 2025 results and eligibility criteria.

4. Seat Allotment & Admission Fee Payment
   If allotted a seat, log in to accept the seat and pay the admission fee within the specified deadline to confirm your admission.

5. Document Verification & Final Admission
   Complete the document verification process (online or offline as specified) to secure your seat officially.

To access the CUET UG 2025 scorecard, candidates must log in using their application number and password. In case the password is forgotten, it can be reset by clicking on the “Forgot Password” link and following the on-screen instructions.

NTA activated the CUET UG provisional answer key download link on June 17. Aspirants can download it from the official website and calculate their marks to estimate their chances of qualifying.
