
JEE Advanced highest cutoff for IITs for 2024 will be released after the declaration of results on June 9, 2024. As per the past year's trends, the IITs that see the most demand are IIT Bombay > IIT Delhi > IIT Madras > IIT Kanpur > IIT Roorkee. CSE/Software/IT > Electronics/Electrical > Mechanical > Civil > Other Non-Core Branches are the branches that see the most demand.

We have analysed the JEE Advanced cutoff trends for some key takeaways:
Based on JEE Advanced Cutoff trends, General Category students need at least 180 marks to get into old IITs. As for new IITs, the cutoff marks tend to be low, so 120 should be good enough for admission to various branches.
For non-core branches, the marks range is expected to be around 135 for older IITs and 95 for new IITs.
Based on JEE Advanced cutoff trends, the EWS category candidates will tentatively require 150+ marks to get into the older IITs. As for the new IITs, where the cutoffs tend to be lower, a score of 100+ can be considered enough for admission.
Non-Core Branches: For the non-core branches, 120+ is the tentative score for admission to Old IITs and 120+ for newer IITs.
Core Branches: OBC category students need at least 135+ marks to get into the older IITs, whereas marks as low as 100+ can secure admission to the newer IITs.
Non-Core Branches: As for non-core branches, tentative marks for admission for the older IITs are expected to be 110+ and 75+ for the newer IITs.
Core Branches: As per cutoff analysis, SC candidates will require around 105+ marks for admission to core branches of old IITs. For newer IITs, where the cutoff ranges lower, 70+ marks are tentatively considered enough for admission/
Non-Core Branches: As per cutoff trends, the required mark range for older IITs is expected to be round 70+ while for the newer IITs, it is expected to be around 30+.
For ST category students aiming for core branches, the required marks are at least 100 for admission to older IITs. In contrast, newer IITs require a minimum of 55 marks.
For non-core branches, the marks required range from over 60 for older IITs to more than 25 for the newer IITs.
