JoSAA Counselling 2024 Fees: Seat Acceptance Fees

JoSAA Seat Acceptance Fees are INR 35,000 for General/OBC/EWS categories and INR 15,000 for SC/ST categories. The last day to submit fees for JoSAA counselling round 1 was on June 24, 2024. The deadline to resolve any fee payment related issues for JoSAA counselling round 1 is on June 25, 2024 by 5 pm. You will need to login via your credentials in the official website of JoSAA at josaa.nic.in and make your payment.
As per the official statement of the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA):
- It is mandatory to pay the seat acceptance fees for the candidates who got a seat in Round 1 of JoSAA counselling 2024.
- In case you fail to pay the seat acceptance fees before the deadline then your allotted seat will be canceled and you will not be considered for seat allocation in the next rounds of JoSAA counseling.
- It is mandatory for each candidate who has been allocated a seat in JoSAA round 1 to upload their documents for verification.
- In case, the documents are not uploaded before the deadline then your seat is liable to be canceled, regardless of whether you have paid the fees, and you will not be considered for seat allocation in the subsequent counselling rounds.

How to Pay Your Seat Acceptance Fee for JoSAA Counselling?
Seat Acceptance Fee Payment by Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking
If you have been allotted a seat for the first time in any round, you need to pay the Seat Acceptance fee online before your online document verification.
- Click “Pay Seat Acceptance Fee”: Once you click this option, the system will automatically redirect you to the EPG page.
- Choose Your Payment Method: You can select any of the options like Debit Card, Credit Card, or Net Banking according to your convenience. Follow the online instructions to complete the payment process.
- Successful Payment: After successful payment, the payment gateway will redirect you to the seat allotment result page. If the payment status shows “Success”, you can then download your provisional seat allotment letter.
