CUET UG 2024 Results Soon: UGC Chairman Speaks

The University Grants Commission (UGC) Chairman, M Jagadesh Kumar, spoke about the Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG) 2024 results. Media houses report UGC Chairman quoting, “NTA is working on CUET results and will announce a date soon,”
Earlier, CUET UG results 2024 were delayed as it was supposed to be released on June 30, 2024. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has not yet released the CUET result 2024 date and time and there has not been any official word on the release of CUET UG Provisional Answer Key 2024
Will CUET UG Results be Declared on July 10?
Several media houses are reporting that CUET UG results 2024 may be declared on July 10, 2024. Media houses report of a sourcce within the NTA stating that the results could be announced by July 10 but it is still speculative at best. Since, NTA has not announced the date of the CUET UG Provisionbal Answer Keys release and the Answer Key challenge window, hence the July 10 Date cannot be confirmed. The source from NTA stated that the agency will take a week to 10 days to verify all the challenges to the answer key before releasing the final results.
Why were CUET UG Results Delayed?
The National Testing Agency has not specified why CUET UG results have been delayed. Although the delay can be attributed to the string of controversies that hit national level entrance exams in the month of June.
The ramifications of controversies in NEET UG, NEET PG, UGC-NET, CSIR-NET was eventually felt in CUET UG 2024. The provisional answer keys were not declared by the NTA and as a result CUET UG results were eventually delayed.
Who is the UGC Chairman?
The current University Grants Commission Chairman is M. Jagadesh Kumar. Mamidala Jagadesh Kumar is an Academician, Electrical Engineer, and an Education Administrator. He became the chairman on UGC on February 2022. Professor Kumar also serves as a professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at IIT Delhi.
