CAT 2023 Official Notification has been released by IIM Lucknow. According to the notification, the IIM Lucknow will conduct the Common Admission Test (CAT) in 2023. A notification will be released soon on the official website - iimcat.ac.in. CAT 2023 exam will be tentatively held in the month of November according to the previous year's trend.

Professor Sanjeet Singh Chairperson of Admissions has been appointed the exam convenor of 2023. According to him the notification of CAT 2023 will be released at the end of July.

Last year, CAT 2022 was conducted by IIM Bangalore on November 27. Registration for CAT 2022 started on August 3 and ended on September 14, with an extended deadline until September 22. Admit cards were released on October 27 for the November 27 exam. The registration fee was Rs 2300 for general category students and Rs 1150 for reserved categories.

The eligibility criteria for CAT exam require general category candidates to hold a bachelor's degree with at least 50% marks, while SC/ST/PWD candidates need a minimum of 45% marks from a recognized university.

CAT is an annual exam for admission to MBA/ PGP courses at IIMs and other B-schools accepting CAT scores. The test assesses quantitative ability, verbal ability, reading comprehension, logical thinking, and data interpretation.
