The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE) has announced the schedule for Stray Round-II Counseling for BAMS, BUMS, and BPT courses and the 2nd/Mop-Up Round of Counseling for BHMS for the academic year 2024-25. This notification comes after the reduction of the NEET UG qualifying percentile by 15 percentile across all categories for AYUSH UG courses.

J&K NEET AYUSH Counseling 2024: Key Details
Courses and Counseling Date of BHMS, BAMS, BUMS, and BPT:
- Date: December 3, 2024 (Tuesday)
- Location: BOPEE offices at Jammu/Srinagar
- Timings: Registration/Attendance from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM
Eligibility Criteria For J & K NEET AYUSH Counseling 2024
The following candidates are eligible to participate:
- BAMS/BUMS/BPT:
- Candidates who were not allotted a seat in previous rounds.
- Candidates who applied afresh under Notification No. 168-BOPEE of 2024.
- Candidates who were allotted a seat but did not join.
- Candidates with seats upgraded in prior rounds are not eligible.
- BHMS:
- Candidates who did not join their allotted seats or were absent during the first round.
- Candidates interested in seat upgrades (must provide a fee deposition receipt).
- Candidates who authorized a family member to attend must submit an authorization letter and ID proof.
J & K NEET AYUSH Counseling Procedure
For BAMS, BUMS, and BPT
- Eligible candidates must register and pay a counselling fee of ₹1500 via POS machine at the BOPEE office.
- Reserved category candidates will be counselled first. If seats remain vacant, they will be converted to open merit (OM) as per the J&K Reservation Act, 2004.
For BHMS
- The same fee and registration process apply.
- Candidates must ensure all documents, including fee receipts for upgraded seats, are ready at the time of admission.
- Any unfilled reserved category seats will be converted to open merit based on availability.
J&K NEET AYUSH Counseling 2024: Additional Guidelines
- Counselling will stop once all seats are filled.
- A Tentative Seat Matrix will be available on the BOPEE website before counselling begins.
- Changes may occur due to unforeseen technical or administrative reasons.
- Any legal disputes related to the counselling process will be subject to court orders.
