J&K AYUSH NEET Counselling 2024: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates interested in participating in the counselling rounds must meet specific criteria, which vary slightly for each course.

Procedure For BAMS/BUMS/BPT Counselling

  • Eligible candidates must report to BOPEE offices (Jammu/Srinagar) from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM on the counselling day for registration and formalities.
  • Only candidates who haven’t been allotted seats in 2nd or Mop-Up rounds or weren’t upgraded in the Mop-Up round are eligible.
  • Candidates assigned seats in the 1st round but did not join can participate in the Special Stray Vacancy Round.
  • Candidates who joined seats through the AIQ Mop-Up round are not eligible.
  • First-time participants need to pay a Rs. 1500 counselling fee via POS machine at BOPEE offices.

Procedure For BHMS Counselling

  • Candidates must report at BOPEE offices (Jammu/Srinagar) from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM on the scheduled day.
  • First-time participants pay a Rs. 1500 fee through POS.
  • Seat allotment follows the Social Welfare Department’s S.O. 176 and S.O. 305 guidelines.
  • Candidates unable to attend in person can authorize a close family member with ID and authorization letter.
  • Counselling will end once seats are filled, and a tentative seat matrix will be posted on www.jkbopee.gov.in before counselling.
