The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Government of Kerala, has announced the first round of stray vacancy allotment. The round will fill vacant LLM seats in Government Law Colleges and Private Self-financing Law Colleges across Kerala for the academic year 2024-25. Online registration for the first stray vacancy round is open from December 31 to January 3, 2025.

KLEE 2024:Eligibility Criteria and General Rules
The stray vacancy allotment is open for KLEE 2024 to candidates who fulfill the following conditions:
- Eligibility:
- Applicants who appear in the LLM Course 2024 rank list issued by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations.
- The applicant must be eligible under Clause 9 of the Prospectus.
- Ineligibility:
- Applicants who have already been admitted to any LLM seat.
- Applicants who had been allotted seats in previous vacant seat allotments.
- Vacancies:
- Seats remaining unfilled after previous allotments will be made available.
- Probable category conversions that may lead to additional vacancies are also taken into account.
Registration Fee Details

- The fee must be paid through an online payment platform.
- Candidates will be returned the registration fee if they don't get any allotment, but fees are not refunded for:
- The candidate does not join after allotment.
- The candidate leaves the assigned seat after admission.
Refunds will only be processed after the completion of the process of allotment; details will be announced on the website.
Instructions for Candidates
- Document Submission: Candidates allotted seats must join their respective institutions with original certificates listed under Prospectus Clause 19. Applicable tuition, other fees, and deposits must be paid at the time of admission.
- Finality of Allotment: Seats allotted in this phase are final and cannot be changed in subsequent phases.
- Subsequent Allotments: If the situation still does not improve, the stray vacancy allotment can be repeated. Options registered in this round will not carry over, though.
