The Madhya Pradesh Directorate of Medical Education (DME) released the revised merit list for the second round of state NEET PG counselling under the National Eligibility Entrance Test - Postgraduate (NEET PG) 2024. Along with merit list, the authorities have released the list of eligible candidates and vacancy. MP NEET PG counselling round 2 is ongoing.

Amended Merit List and Counselling Advisory:
- The DME has already published several important documents: advisory for round 2 counselling, qualified candidates lists, and vacancy lists.
Round 2 Counseling Schedule:
- Aspirants are given the right to present fresh selections for round two until January 6, 2025.
- Seat allotment results will be released on January 8, 2025.
Instructions from DME MP:
Choice-Filling and Locking:
- Eligible candidates need to fill in choices and lock them on the portal within the given time frame.
- Applicants belonging to Madhya Pradesh local domicile and outside the state non-domicile can apply.
Advance Fee Payments:
- Applicants for state quota postgraduate courses require paying Rs 25,000 for government colleges and Rs 12,500 for reserved category applicants.
- Private college aspirants will have to pay Rs 2 lakh, while NRI quota applicants will have to pay Rs 10 lakh as an advance fee, which will be adjusted accordingly.
Important Deadlines:
- Candidates already allotted a seat in the first phase will have their advance fees deducted from the academic tuition of the first phase.
Advisory for Upgrades and Resignations:
- Candidates assigned seats must report to the allotted institution for document verification.
- Any resignation from the seat in the second round will attract a penalty of Rs 2 lakh.
Payment and Admission Process:
- Payment can be done through net banking, credit/debit cards, and RTGS. The excess payment shall be refunded post the counseling process.
Mop-up Phase:
- Upgradation request on the date of mop-up round for those candidates who were not upgraded to the second round.
