The update follows letters from the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM) and the National Commission for Homoeopathy (NCH), which lowered the NEET qualifying percentile for admissions to BAMS, BHMS, and BUMS courses for the academic session 2024-25.

Key Instructions for Candidates

  • Eligibility:
    • Candidates must meet the HSC (12th) PCB marks criteria outlined in the NEET UG 2024 Information Brochure.
  • Registration Details:
    • Candidates already registered for NEET UG 2024 cannot register again.
    • Those newly eligible under the revised criteria can register between November 19 and November 21, 2024.
  • Preference Filling:
    • Candidates who had registered earlier but did not fill preferences can now do so.
    • Preferences from previous rounds will be considered invalid.
  • Seat Allotment:
    • Seats will be allocated based on remaining vacancies after Online Stray Vacancy Round-2, adhering to merit.
    • Candidates must join allotted seats during Online Stray Vacancy Rounds to avoid disqualification.

  • All candidates are urged to carefully fill in their preferences to ensure they only select colleges where they intend to secure admission.
  • The updated schedule applies only to BAMS, BHMS, and BUMS courses under Group B.
