UG Counseling 2024: Eligibility and Process Details
Only candidates already registered on the MCC portal and meeting the following conditions are eligible:
- Eligibility:
- Candidates registered with MCC who have paid the fees.
- Candidates not holding any seat from previous NEET UG 2024 counselling rounds (AIQ, State Quota, or Deemed Universities).
- Ineligibility:
- Candidates who did not register or pay the required fees.
- Candidates who were allotted seats in AIQ Round 3 or earlier Stray Vacancy Rounds and did not join.
- Candidates who are currently holding a seat through AIQ/State Quota/Deemed University counselling.
3. Fresh Choice Filling
- All eligible candidates must submit fresh choices for this round.
- Choices from earlier rounds will be considered null and void.
4. Choice Filling and Locking:
- Select and lock your desirable colleges and courses from the official website.
- Choices must be locked within a given time else the last saved preference will count as the final.
5. Seat Allotment:
- The allotments are done on the basis of NEET UG 2024 scores, preferences submitted, and seat availability.
6. Reporting to Colleges:
- Candidates must report to the allotted institution with the required documents.
- Non-reporting will lead to the cancellation of the allotted seat.
What are the Documents Required for NEET UG Counselling 2024?
You will need a set of documents during the NEET UG counselling process. Failure to produce any document will make you liable to have your seat cancelled. Here is the list of documents required:
- 8 Passport Size photographs
- Gap Certificate
- Class 12 Marksheet
- Transfer Certificate or Migration Certificate
- Domicile Certificate (Only for State)
- Your Admit Card
- Disability Certificate (If Applicable)
