The University of Kashmir has formally postponed all its university examinations that were set for May 3, 2025, in consideration of the forthcoming NEET UG 2025 examination, which is set to take place on May 4, 2025. The university issued an official notice mentioning:

"In view of ensuing NEET (UG) examination 2025, it is notified for the information of all the concerned that the University examinations scheduled on 03-05-2025 stand postponed."

The new date of the rescheduled postponed university examinations has been decided as May 17, 2025, and the place and timing shall not change.

This step is meant to avoid academic clashes for thousands of students appearing for the NEET UG examination in Jammu and Kashmir, particularly those who could have experienced back-to-back exam schedules.

NEET UG 2025 candidates from Jammu and Kashmir are requested to adhere to the following instructions on exam day as provided by the NTA:

• Report at the exam center by 11:00 AM; no candidate will be allowed in after 1:30 PM.
• Bring NEET UG 2025 admit card and produce it at the entrance of the exam center.
• Do not exit the exam hall till the test gets over.
• Bring an updated Aadhaar card for verification of identity.
• Avoid taking electronic devices, mobile phones, or any prohibited items to the examination center.

Students are also requested to keep themselves informed through the official NEET website and the University of Kashmir portal regarding any further orders.
