The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is expected to commence the NEET UG 2025 Counselling by the second week of July 2025, tentatively around July 15, although the official schedule is still awaited. The NEET 2025 result was declared on June 14, and MCC typically starts the counselling process within a month after result announcement.
Candidates who have qualified NEET UG 2025 must keep their documents and login credentials ready as the process is entirely online through the official website – mcc.nic.in. The registration, choice filling, and seat allotment will be done online, followed by reporting at the allotted institute for final admission.

Who Conducts NEET Counselling?
MCC will conduct NEET counselling 2025 for the following quotas:
- 15% All India Quota (AIQ) MBBS/BDS seats
- 100% seats of BHU, AIIMS, JIPMER, AMU
- 85% institutional quota of Delhi-based universities (DU/IPU/ESIC Dental)
- 15% IP quota seats of ESIC
- 100% Faculty of Dentistry (Jamia Milia Islamia) + 5% internal quota
States and UTs will manage 85% state quota seats separately through their respective counselling authorities.

Latest Update: NEET UG 2025 Re-Exam Ordered
In a recent development, the Madhya Pradesh High Court has directed NTA to conduct a retest for candidates affected by power outages during the NEET UG 2025 exam. The court acknowledged that these candidates were disadvantaged through no fault of their own. MCC is expected to release clarification regarding the counselling participation of such candidates soon.
