Parul University Hosts Samvidhan Pe Charcha 2.0 bringing top legal experts from all over India.

Parul University recently organised Samvidhan Pe Charcha 2.0, a national law event that brought together over 15 well-known legal experts, including retired Supreme Court and High Court judges, senior advocates, advocates-on-record, and judicial officers.

The event gave law students a chance to engage in real discussions on important legal topics like women’s rights, the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA), arbitration, secularism, and the Uniform Civil Code. It also featured hands-on workshops to help students build practical legal skills.

Some of the notable speakers were Justice M.R. Shah, Justice A.J. Desai, Justice Ashutosh Shastri, Justice Ravi Tripathi, Senior Advocates Meenakshi Arora, Siddhartha Dave, Huzefa Ahmadi and Satyajeet Desai. Dr. Mamta Agarwal from AIU delivered the keynote address on how youth and social activism can shape policy and legal reforms.

Some of the renowned advocates like Pallavi Pratap, Malak Bhatt, Pragya Singh, Gaurav Goel, Amit Pai and Udit Vyas were also present. They conducted sessions on key legal skills like drafting petitions, interpreting laws and exploring careers in niche legal areas.

Senior Advocate Meenakshi Arora gave a lecture about women's rights encouraging students to take a stand for justice and Justice M.R. Shah reminded the students that the Constitution belongs to every citizen, not just to the courts. Many speakers including advocates and justices also talked about the importance of fraternity, secularism and continuous legal reform.

Many Justices, Advocates and other notable legal experts participated in Samvidhan Pe Charcha 2.0. Due to this it became an impactful learning platform and helped law students who participated in the event, better understand the law and their role in shaping a fair and just society.
