The Directorate of Medical Education & Research, Chennai, has announced the provisional schedule of Round 3 counseling for PG Degree/Diploma courses under Government Quota, Management Quota, and Minority & NRI seats; PwD Quota in self-financing medical colleges and Christian Medical College, Vellore, for the session 2024-25.
PwD Quota Round 3 Counselling Schedule (January 29, 2025)
The counselling process for PwD candidates will be conducted today, January 29, 2025, for eligible candidates. Those willing to secure admission in Tamil Nadu government medical colleges based on NEET PG 2024 must participate in the counselling as per the schedule below:

Registration & Fee Details
- PwD Quota & Government Quota:
- Non-refundable registration fee: ₹1,000
- Refundable Security Deposit: ₹30,000
- Management Quota (incl. Minority & NRI):
- Non-refundable registration fee: ₹1,000
- Refundable Security Deposit: ₹2,00,000
Eligibility & Upgradation Rules
- PwD candidates can edit their choices multiple times before final locking. Once locked, no further modifications will be allowed.
- Candidates allotted a seat in Round 1 or Round 2 but not joined can participate in Round 3.
- Those opting for upgradation in Round 3 must accept the new seat if allotted and vacate the previous one.
- Virtual Vacancies: Seats vacated in previous rounds will be available for choice filling, but only confirmed once the previous candidate vacates the seat.
- Any unfilled seats of NRI, Telugu Minority, Malayalam Minority, and Christian Minority (CMC 50% seats) will be filled under the Management Quota.

Reporting to Allotted College
Candidates must report with original certificates and a self-declaration form by Feb 9, 2025 (5:00 PM). Failure to report will result in seat cancellation.
