Anna University has declared the official dates for Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) 2025 and Common Engineering Entrance Test and Admission (CEETA PG) 2025. These entrance exams are crucially important for gaining admission to the postgraduate programmes of M.E., M.Tech., M.Arch., M.Plan, MBA, and MCA in all the colleges affiliated to the Anna University in the state of Tamil Nadu.

  • Registration Dates: January 24, 2025, to February 21, 2025
  • Exam Dates: March 22 and March 23, 2025

Registration Process

Registration will be done through the online application process as described below:

  1. Visit the Official Website: Register at tancet.annauniv.edu.
  2. Fill Application Form: Fill up the personal and academic details, choose exam centers, and upload scanned copies of your photograph and signature.
  3. Pay Application Fee: Online payment will be accepted using credit/debit cards or net banking.
  4. Download Application Form: Save a copy of the filled-up application for further reference.
  5. Admit Card: Post-registration, download the admit card from the website, which is mandatory for exam entry.

TANCET 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Program Eligibility Criteria
MBA Bachelor’s degree (10+2+3/4/5 or Diploma + 3 years) with a minimum of 50% (45% for SC/ST in Tamil Nadu).
MCA Bachelor’s degree with Mathematics as a core subject, same marks requirement as MBA.

Eligibility Details
Educational Qualification B.E./B.Tech./B.Arch./B.Pharm. or master’s in relevant fields.
Minimum Marks (General Category) 50%
Minimum Marks (Reserved Categories) 45%
Additional Criteria Completion of Class 12, 10+3 diploma, or equivalent certifications.
