To get admission in MAIMS you had to get rank less than 2200 in IPU CET exam , which stands for IPU COMMON ENTRANCE TEST . There were no Group discussions and Interviews, but an IPU CET exam . I prepared this through last year question papers.
I choose this course because of better value of this course in the market and better job opportunities. And also to learn about financial aspect. And some skills , practical knowledge and confidence to gain from the highly qualified faculty of the college. The faculty have studied till MBA and PHD and even more. The faculty of this college is highly educated and experienced , and helps us a lot in our daily activities.
Main Project and internship are given at 3rd year , I am currently in 2nd year , but in 2nd Sem we had done an minor project, and also viva was conducted for that project both external and internal. It was mainly to help students research and learn .
Almost 60% of students are placed every year of B.Com(H) students of our college. Companies like Amazon , Paytm , Wipro , etc. are the common recruiters of the campus placement. More than 100 offers are made every year. Highest packet is around 12 lakh and average package is around 4.15 lakh . I would like to do MBA after completing my B.com(H) degree for better skills and better job opportunities.

There are lot of societies in my college. For ex- BIZMIND , COMPACT , ENACTUS, etc. There are regularly events and fests organised in the College campus , recently few months ago , famous singer Raftaar and famous comedian Yash Rathee was invited for the show and the show was lit ????????. There are regular tournaments of Kabaadi, cricket, badminton and basketball in our college, and there is also a gym for students resinding in hostel.
I have not opted for a hostel, but as per I had got to know from my friends, hostel mess is sometimes awesome and some time poor , mostly it is above average, the rooms and washrooms are clean, the ACs in the classrooms and hostels rooms are of good company . Hostel of our college are quite expensive, it is around ?2,00,000 for 11 months of a sharing AC room , I would suggest to rent a room or Pg instead of hostel . There is also a gym in the campus for hostel students.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
du sol provides placement in news 18, aaj tak and job opportunities as according to the course of student pursuing. just visit to du sol north campus head quarter ask for the facility they will provide . bad thing is they dont provide on regular basis.
The placement cell is quite active. There are always placement and internship fairs every year and even other college students can join them. The placement recruiters are from top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, etc. Although, not every one gets in these companies but then, there are other companies as well like Finshots, Voice Your Vichaar, etc. The average package is 3LPA and highest package is 8LPA.
