Likes
- One thing that I like the most about our college is the variety of clubs you'll find. Great way to gain exposure and socialise with like minded people.
- Another thing is that our college is really spacious.
Dislikes
- The route to our college is really unsafe. The nearest metro station is rithala which is also 15 minutes away from our college so poor metro connectivity.
- Attendance issues at times but that's not that big of a problem.
Remarks :
There was a written exam called CET based on the results of the exam we were allotted the colleges. There were no additional group discussion rounds or interviews. As per the cut-off, you can easily get admission to MAIMS with a rank of 4500-4600 in the second shift.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose BBA because I wasn't sure about the career I wanted to pursue; hence, BBA was a safe option since I did not have to choose a specialisation. The faculty is very qualified and educated. There's a mix of teachers like in every college. Some are nice to you while some aren't but that's subjective. Rest assured every teacher is well qualified and supportive. The term examinations aren't taken very seriously since they're held pretty frequently to check how much the students have studied and not to enter the marks.
Internships Opportunities :
I am currently interning at a shapewear brand as a marketing intern. However, I haven't received this internship through college. Our college has a semi-annual internship fair where different companies recruit students.
Placement Experience :
There is a placement cell at our college operating for different courses actively. Google is one of the most famous companies that visit the campus every year. The campus placement for the MAIMS is not that great but for MAIT is pretty nice. I am currently interning as a marketing intern and plan on doing that.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Tuition fee 99800 Activity fee 1000 University fee 20000 Total amount 120800 There are no scholarships available for general students. The fees for the students of management quota are the same as the general students however they pay an extra amount for getting admission in the college.
Campus Life :
One thing that MAIMS has the best out of any IPU college is its societies/clubs. Every society gives you a different type of exposure, enhances your skills and helps you make friends. I am the vice president of the fashion society of MAIMS and can testify that the clubs here are great. There is a society for everyone including the literary Soc, debating club, fashion Soc, drama Soc, enactus, commerce Soc, and e-cell. Other than that the social life here is great we had almost 3-4 fests last year including Commfiesta, Antardhwani (featuring Raftaar) etc. Most of the course books are available in the college and you can issue them using a library card. We have a basketball court and team, football team. We have a badminton court as well. Overall the environment is very lively and happening.
Hostel Facilities :
I haven't opted for a hostel but a lot of my friends stay there and the hostel is only for guys and not available for girls. But most people go for a PG since there are a lot of options available nearby.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!

du sol provides placement in news 18, aaj tak and job opportunities as according to the course of student pursuing. just visit to du sol north campus head quarter ask for the facility they will provide . bad thing is they dont provide on regular basis.

The placement cell is quite active. There are always placement and internship fairs every year and even other college students can join them. The placement recruiters are from top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, etc. Although, not every one gets in these companies but then, there are other companies as well like Finshots, Voice Your Vichaar, etc. The average package is 3LPA and highest package is 8LPA.

talking about placement opportunities many companies come to campus including google microsoft to core companies like texas instruments and bajaj giving a decent job opportunity. each one with a cgpa of more than 7 easily grasp job with pay of more than 12 lpa and people with decent cgpa of more than 8 grasp top jobs in the campus
