- The college has lot of clubs and groups where almost everyone can be a part of it personally I like arts so I joined wpa as dancer ,singer and then I joined dirs for the or experience and marking experience as well
- The faculty are easy to approach and almost help with anything that we require if we need help to publish reports , for preparing for placements,or to outreach to any alumini.The faculty helps students to resolve almost any issues that they face in their campus life and to plan ahead as well
Dislikes
- The college has lot of clubs and events and it may seem a little too hectic something and it becomes hard to keep up with all the different activities and things that are going on the campus and something we lose track of time and won't have time to manage all the things together
- There are many places in the campus where we won't get data connection although there is a campus wifi something it won't be connected and payments for food in canteen, or download reports ,pdf etc.. may face a problem as there is not network available in some crucial areas like the foyer ,the quad and the Library as well
Remarks :
Xavier's is only second to Delhi University in BMS courses and it has a good reputation among colleges and has great alumni and placements there are a lot of opportunities in the college to get exposed to new experiences as well. For BMS, BMM, and BSC-IT there is an entrance test called XAT, and usually, the weightage is 60% of the entrance score combined with a 40% board examination score after that there may be an interview round as well for me there was no interview. The XAT exam has sections in English, maths, logical reasoning, and GK with each section having 20 marks to prepare for this mainly focuses on the quantitative side as it is easier to score than logical reasoning and GK is hard cause anything can be asked for the exam, there are plenty of YouTube videos, etc.. from which one can learn as I did one of the YouTube channels was a receipt, and there are sites in Google which help with providing free mock exams as well.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose BMS cause management is something I wanted to learn and BMS is also known as a mini MBA cause all of the subjects taught in BMS are similar to MBA subjects most people after completing BMS go for financial consultant jobs and this course was perfect for someone what's to learn how to grow and analyze a business and know how to scale it up. The teaching faculty is extremely qualified with teachers having PhD and even work experience in their subjects even publishing research papers on their subjects we also have visiting faculty for specific subjects such as economics, rural markets, etc, and most teaching methods include presentation, group discussion and projects as well and there are 3 exams in sem CIA 1 and 2 and end sem and CIA1 begging within a month of sem and CIA1 are mainly group projects and End sem is an exam, The CIA is scored out of 20 each and end sem is out of 60 and we need a total of 40 to pass the sem.
Internships Opportunities :
I have not done an internship through college I did through mostly reaching out and contacts but for an Internship the college placement cell again manages it which we can apply during 2nd year and many companies such as HUL, Bane, Morgan Stanley, etc.. come for internship and also offers students with PPO after the completion of the internship.
Placement Experience :
The college offers a placement cell that regulates the placements of students we have to register by paying a fee of 1200rs in the third year after which we will be added to the placement cell Google classroom. It is recommended to keep a GPA above 8 to apply as many have an eligible above 8 GPA to apply. Companies such as Bane, McKinsey, Morgan Stanley, and Zomato have come up for the placements The highest package was 31 lakhs and it was an analyst role in a finance firm the average package stats about 5 to 6 lakhs, About 60%of the students get placed in college. I plan to do an MBA abroad as I have still not fixed idea of what I should pursue yet and I would like to get more exposure and explore before I go for a job
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The tuition fee we charged at beginning of every term, It usually increases from the first year to the third year and there are financial aid and scholarships available but to avail of that we have to submit the required documents to the admissions office, and scholarship is usually given at end of the term for providing excellence in various fertile such as sports, academics, etc and there is NRI quota seats, as well as management seat which charge significant more money for the NRI quota the fee usually ranges between 3-6 lakhs and management, is also in a similar range, There is an increase in fee from this year onwards as after the implementation of the NEP policy the college subscribed to Harvard case studies and other research material to be included in the academics hence there was a fee hike for all the course in the college there has been over a 40% min hike per courses
Campus Life :
The college has many fests such as Malhar, janfest, ammo, business conference, conundrum, etc basically each fest for each of the departments in the college mainly Malhar is held in August, and the rest of the fest starts from Nov to Feb. The college has two Libraries for reference and lending and there is campus wifi as well reference library is big enough for students to sit down in groups and study as well. The are many sports in college such as football, basketball, volleyball, hockey, chess, badminton, etc. we also have annual sports competitions such as marathons, long jumps, etc.. held at the end of the year all of this is managed by the college Gymkhana. Also, there are various clubs such as WPA, DIRS, ecc club AICUF, social service league, and even students council for students to take part and all these clubs are run by students itself
Hostel Facilities :
The college hostel admission is based on merit basis and there are 3 floors we can opt for the hostel only 1 and last year for masters students could opt for a hostel till completion of their course the rooms are usually 3 shared and there is a common washroom and there is a curfew of 10:30 pm as well, and the rent per month is close to 16000rs and for the food we can use the college canteen and message and food is nice and affordable for the students and we can order food as well also there are many good restaurants close by the college itself as it's in a prime location, I stayed in another hostel seva Niketan in Nagpada 15 min form college by bus the rent was 9000rs per month and there was no food or mess in the hostel but there were many restaurants close to it and it is pretty affordable as well I have suggested this hostel from the college itself as the college hostel was full during my admission.

Placement Experience :
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track

no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.

The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed

Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.

Course Curriculum Overview :
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .

There are the placements are done in the final year of college, You are eligible for the appear in the placements drive you have to score good scores in the semester exams. There are the lowest 3LPA and highest 6LPA packages are offered by the companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, BOAT, SBI , Ultra Tech, Mahindra, Capgemini etc. Students have to maintain their SGPA up to 8.0 CGPA.

engineering course curriculum is very old specially for university batch students my batch get admission in 2022 at that our college is not get autonomous status. passing semester exams is little hard in university compare to autonomous batch. faculties teachings methods are very old. And not practical learning provided.

The placements are nice. Majorly Hafiz contractor firm take students. But a lot of firms do come fruit placement. Take interview and hire students. Last year a lot of students got placements based on their portfolios and skills And got salaries ranging from 2,50,000-6,00,000 Annually.
