Cut of average and mhtcet will help you get in easily as of say many out of Maharashtra people are also availing easy admissions like Jammu and Kashmir up people even if you are getting a seat in IT and you want comp so I must tell you that there is no difference from first year to final year.
There is only a comp and IT course available and now the academics have improved from this year ENTC department has also started as it was closed due to inefficiency BUT even from the fact that the campus is low the college is impactful and has special acknowledgment on campus.
No, but as for internships there are many opportunities as well there is earn with learn opportunities in college where you can work in various departments of the college college crowd also helps in getting internships as there are two colleges on the same campus.
Placement opportunities are good and the central placement cell in Sinhgad helps in giving every student equal opportunity. A special pod platform helps in managing a CV and is a similar platform as LinkedIn which you can easily check when a new company arrives in college and if you are eligible or not. I would if you are academically good in college then you are eligible for every company arriving.
As of say the college infrastructure is basic but good in terms of colleges in Pune and it is not in Pune it is in Lonavala you can commute locally from Pune or Shivajinagar station and it takes 1.5 hours to reach Lonavala and share a rikshaw will take you in 50 rs upto gate but the college takes a long walk and it is on small hill and college is on the top most side where hostel, especially for skits, is lower side the sports facilities are good you can avail any equipment for free on you mess id card but it is the only good thing on mess card whereas the menu and mess food is average and sometimes below average and there are only a few options to eat outside and prefer being in the hostel as the city doesn't offer good facilities outside the campus. There is one private PG for both boys and girls. I would say the rainy season is the worst and you will wake up till noon
Few clubs and NSS activities are proactive in the college as well sports and culture are good and Singed Karnak is a good opportunity in the culture to showcase every talent also teachers are very helpful and want college students to participate being a sports player has participated even in every cultural event.
Best hostel for the first year but won't complain about the infrastructure as the rooms are big and electricity and hot water facilities are good .mess food is good and average but only veg options are available and multiple messes are available and you can change mess at month end in hostel office and hostel facilities can be availed easily anytime in the year and but you have to pay the full fee and the first installment is 30k.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .
There are the placements are done in the final year of college, You are eligible for the appear in the placements drive you have to score good scores in the semester exams. There are the lowest 3LPA and highest 6LPA packages are offered by the companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, BOAT, SBI , Ultra Tech, Mahindra, Capgemini etc. Students have to maintain their SGPA up to 8.0 CGPA.
engineering course curriculum is very old specially for university batch students my batch get admission in 2022 at that our college is not get autonomous status. passing semester exams is little hard in university compare to autonomous batch. faculties teachings methods are very old. And not practical learning provided.
