I have qualified JEE mains exam for the admission and as it's an government College so you don't have to worry about extra charges. The selection process is so transparent that you don't need to worry about any corruption. For admission in this college you need to achieve atleast 85 percentile in JEE mains exam for any branch in this college.
The faculties are very good in their profession. They really try to help you achieve your dreams which you bring with yourself while taking admission in this college. But there is politics in every college these days during any event.
Yes you can avail internship during the final year but there is no company which came for internship program. You have apply off campus for the internships. Some of the students who availed the internship are currently placed in that company.
The placement cell works fine. Almost 60 to 70 percent of the students get placed every year. For the CSE branch average package is 4-5 LPA per year and for the college it's 3-4 LPA. Company such as Zenus group, Tech Mahindra, Cybrain, Adani group, JSW, Vedanta Ltd. Are some of the companies who came for the requirements. The highest package offered for Mining Engineering from Vedanta is 16LPA. I have got placed in Tech Mahindra and currently pursuing my job at Bhubaneswar.
For the first year You have to pay 5000 rupees extra for registration and then from the next year you only have to pay 27430 per year. For scholarship program you can avail both state government or central government scholarship programs for professional courses and it is available for everyone one who have family income less than 3 lakhs. The scholarship per year veries from 20k to 40k as per guidelines and schemes.
I have got some friends for life in this place and most of my friends are well placed. There are 3 clubs in this college first one is the Robotics then Google development student club then the dance club. There is an annual fest called "UTKARSH" and it's the time when all the branches take part in all the events and carry their responsibility. It's most probably happens during February or March every year. Every year , every branch conducts their branch fest . For my branch( CSE) the fest is called 'Genesis'. Every club takes part in the events conducted during fest and not only clubs but other colleges are also invited to participate in the events and programs. The library is kinda small but most of the required books for engineering are available in the library. There is also a study room with wifi accessibility and computer systems to help the students.Every year two times the annual sports is conducted during winter and summer time. Most probably in December and march respectively.
I have stayed in the college hostel for 4 years. There is 2 hostels for boys and 2 hostel for girls. For boys 1st year students have separate hostel and then for all the seniors there is another hostel. Similarly for girls the 1st yr girls have separate hostel then the senior girls. But 1st year girls hostel is outside the campus so there is a college bus for transportation. You can avail hostel for the first year during admission but for 2nd yr you have to obtain atleast 8.0 CGPA in the first two semesters( only for boys). The girls can also choose hostel during admission but there is no such criteria for the seniors.
After completion of this course go for national health mission recruitment In odisha opsc amo exam conducted many students were passed the exam from our college and got posted. You can go for many pharmacy company 100 percent of students getting placement
There campus placement here are ok startups came here and many big mncs like tcs, flipkart etc. Some department get companies like the MBA but that is an exceptional case. No other department participate in campus drive or placement cell. Students need to apply off campus to get placed.
for placement students need to get atleast 7cgpa. The placement is decent where most students around 85% get placed . Main companies are accenture, tcs, infosys , cognizant etc. Highest package was 9lpa and average was around 4lpa . I plan to work in one of the companies i get placed in.
Students are eligible for placements from third year onwards on a condition that the student has good skills and created good projects. Companies are still coming to ITER since July, various companies like Wipro, Xerox, Paytm, Flipkart, DELL, Microsoft, TCS Infosys and various other MNCs and startups come to the campus for placements and also provide pre placement offers. Currently I have no idea about the highest and average packages as per the company and the profiles offered, but I know that the highest package offered in Iter has been 43 lakhs pa and the average package is around 6lacs-8lacs. There are certain criteria set by the college for the students to be eligible to sit in the placement, out of that more than 85% to 90% of eligible students have secured placements. Students also get internships from second year. After I get a degree and if I land a suitable job then it's okay otherwise I will look to get into civil services or defence.
It has average placements. They also provide training for that. You will be eligible from 4th year. They also provide practice schools where the eligibility is 8 cgpa. They also provide training in the 3rd and 4th year. The companies which I know are Infosys Accenture Capgemini Genpact Mindfire solutions Mindtree. Tcs. pwC Deloitte Inovaare Tata Power Cosmovolt Tech Mahindra etc. They mostly provide the packages in the range 3.5-6 lpa ..The average oncampus placement this year was 4.5 lpa and the highest was 14.5 lpa. The 30 lpa shown was off campus. So you can get jobs according to your skills and cgpa . Overally the placement is just average but roi may be better.
Actually as I am a undergraduate I don't exactly know how much is the eligibility criteria for placement but I know that the guest lecturers are given according to number of classes they do in a month My plans after getting a degree is to give jrf net /gate and to further study in reasearch lines.
Eligibility criteria for placements are based on cgpa cut off and no backlogs are allowed. A few companies that came for recruitment are Infosys, Tcs , Accenture , Cognizant , Dell , Deloitte . Profiles offered are mostly of software engineer and average package is around 600000 per annum . My plan after getting degree is to go into software engineering job .
The placement scenario is quite good as most of the students get placed before the completion of course with a decent package. Average package is around 8lpa and the highest package till now is 60+ lpa.
Course Curriculum is well structured ,in first year, evry branch subjects are mostly common and from second year onwards they taught branch specific subjects. Faculties are highly educated and they are also clear their engineering from best colleges
Yes, we do have a placement cell over here and is quite good. Many well-known companies come to recruit their employees, and the companies are quite satisfied over our senior's hard work and smartness. Many companies like Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Delloyd, etc., come to give good placements to the students at the college. I don't know the exact numbers, but the highest package was around 45 lakhs, and the average package was around 5 lakhs per annum. The average percentage of students getting placements is roughly around 70% to 80%. Currently for me, I don't have a solid plan to what to do but you never know some miracle might happen. Just joking, I do have a plan for the near future, but I am little worried about the future that on one before me start that initiative that I have thought about it.
