They have a very good sports facilities specially in football. I gave an exam called CUET and i scored 335/800 in it but i had sports quota so i went for the trials and from there i was allocated this college. I studied from YouTube for the CUET exam.
I choosed BA Program (political science+physical education) because i had a great interest in sports and politics and surely the teaching staff is very co-operative and helpful, Exams are held in December and May and their exam checking is very lenient and gives marks for every attempted question
I've done internship in decathlon and my role was flexible, i used to be a helped then a went to be a cashier then i was also shifted to the stock maintenance department. I did it for 3 months and my stipend was 20k per month.
You should be passed in all of your subjects to be eligible for thr placement. Decathlon, HCL, Bevzilla are the most known companies that came here. Highest package is around 300000/- (3 lakh) and average is around 200000/- (2 lakh) Percentage of students getting package is around 75%+ I plan to do B.P.ed and M.P.ed after this degree
I'm from general category 1st year fees - 8880/- 2nd year fees - 10100/- You can take your fees back through some quotas and it's not even difficult as the management is helpful and it's very affordable being a Du college.
Fest is usually held in the month of APRIL which is quite an average fest. Library has a lot of books and the availability is also quite average, not the best. Sports life is very good here especially for footballers as they support football a lot.
There's no hostel in the college but there's a lot of options for PG's and Flats nearby in Vasant gaon and Satya niketan which is quite good and safe. Also there's a lot of cafe's and food shops nearby.
IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.
The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
