- The flexibility of Timing in Motilal Nehru college is very impressive as it does not rush and gives a smooth college experience
- Since it’s an evening college the student body is quite diverse as many other students that are came from the other parts of the society and other states are all connected in one place
Dislikes
- The infrastructure of the college is somehow outdated and gives the feeling to be renovated
- While the library has valuable resources it often seems a challenge to collect books from the library after the class as it only provides in college hours
Remarks :
As part of the Delhi university the fees are quite affordable compared to private institutions . the college is located in south campus which is well connected from various parts of Delhi DU colleges generally maintain a good decent level of academic standards and Motilal Nehru college offers various undergraduate programs particularly focusing on commerce and humanities.

The curriculum of Motilal Nehru has been very standardised assuring solid academic foundations the curriculum is comprehensive covering essential topics in commerce humanities and social science The difficulty level of term examsare average .
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The yearly fees structure is quite affordable compared to other private institutions Year fee structure approximate BCom 1st year 80000 - 10000 2nd year 7000 -9000 3rd year 7000 -9000 For a three year undergraduate program for BCom the the total fees range is 20000 to 28000 The fees of Motilal Nehru college has been very stable from the past years with only minor adjustments for inflation or administrative charges .
Campus Life :
The life of Motilal Nehru is distinct that to from the morning college but it still provides you with the rush mess of Delhi and especially south Delhi There are clubs related to dance , drama , music , cultural activities politics and more etc You will find the mix of students as generally the students come to evening colleges who have internships to work on in morning

The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.

The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
Maitreyi college is so underrated
