- I dislike some of the infrustucture because its too old and even broken in some places.

Remarks :
I choose this college because its geography depertment is good from the ancient period , For admission we have to give an entrance having a paper of 100 marks containing 50 questions , Then according to the merit basis of the entrence test they selected the students
Course Curriculum Overview :
Because i do Bsc in Geography thats why i choose MSC in Geography, Its became easier for me to get tought the similar subject which i study in Bsc. Faculty are well trained and well educated with a huge mount of knowledge. Each sem contain 6 month gap for the final exam... and in middle contain one sessional exam.
Internships Opportunities :
No there r no internship opportunities in this subject because this is a semi literature subject... we have to do jobs regarding this subjects ... or as a subject teacher of this subject.... Thats how it works
Placement Experience :
After clearing the masters i gve interview on a private college ... about 80 percnt of my batchmate got placement as a subject teacher or tution teacher after the completion of the degree ..Myself also work as a subject teacher.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Admission fees of per year is 21000 , Examination form fillup fees is 5400 rupees, Anyone who can not able to fillup the full admission money he or she can pay in two part , 10000 and 11000 , no scholarship is there for the general , there r no caste system for the payment.
Campus Life :
University week r conducted every year in the month of january or february where all kinds of events of sports and culture were conduted. There are RSS grps , Students union groups and many grps for the wellbeing of the students
Hostel Facilities :
Food quality is preety average... they have a fixed menu for the fixed days in a week.... one have to apply for the hostel and got selected by the merit of the entrence exam.... Rented room or PG is quite expensive .

Good-moderate faculty but maintenance of every other thing is very much not on time The authority doesn’t seem to be concerned about the students and delays every work and at the last moment you will be running around .

Dream Campus, Not-So-Dream Jobs

There are teachers under which u can work and later they can surely help u land a intership, happened with one of my friend. But as of now department dont directly provide u internship. I dont wanna say vague or old numbers about average or highest placement data, so wont comment on it but overall its not that great but there are exceptions, like there are some brilliant minds who lands an enormous off campus placement.(My 2 seniors who r out of india right now) Last year Bharat electronics BHEL came and took 8 seniors for 13lpa package, some banking companies and TCs comes too. My plans after my degree is to get a job in electronic domain while also focusing on my photography and editing Passion Check my work on insta sodaa.edits
My life in B.Borooah College as a science student
Placement Experience :
Placements At B. Borooah College for a BSc Forget it. There's no placement scene like you hear about. No companies come for recruitment drives. The so-called placement cell just puts up notices for government job ads or maybe a local pharmacy needing a helper. I've never seen a single big name visit campus to hire BSc grads. So there's no list of recruiters, no number of offers, and definitely no talk of high packages. Zero students get placed from here in that way. The plan after the degree is everything. For me, it's going for an MSc. For others, it's preparing for government exams, doing B.Ed., or applying to labs and hospitals directly. This college gives you the valid degree, the ticket to sit for other exams or apply further. It doesn't get you a job. It makes you eligible to go find one yourself. Your future is 100% in your own hands after you walk out.

There are 100% internship in Bsc agriculture are also good the average packages 3 to 4 LPA the highest package is 12 LPA percentage of students getting placements are about 70 - 80% the eligibility criteria depends upon the performance of the student on its practical work and its CGPA

The ratio of placement and job is very poor, this is a college of general degree course, so after passing B.Sc., B.Sc. one does not get a job directly, in future one has to do Masters degree, PhD.But data from the last three/four year revealed that students did get jobs in SBI and some other organization, but the percentage was very low.That is why most of the students after completing normal graduation take admission in courses like Masters and BEd, Deled.And my plan in future is to do Masters from IIT or IISER, after that I want to do PhD.

Life as a BTech Student at IIT guwahati
Placement Experience :
there is a CPI criteria of around 6 to sit for placements. The highest packages for bachelors can go up to 1.5cr. Companies in coding include Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Ola, Uber, finance companies like JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs and many more. Highest paying companies are AlphaGrep, Quadeye, JaneStreet but that is very competitive with only people with the best results and from CS getting in. Many people also receive preplacement offers after internships. There are also many companies that visit for product management roles like Ola, Meesho etc. The placement process for Design students is separate. There are also core companies like Texas instruments, that visit.

I choose this course because I am interested in learning coding and I want to seek my future in this line. I am finding some difficulties in understanding the subjects and topics but I believe it is because I am new to this field and new to everything.
