Remarks :

Well back in 2020 it was one of the reputed colleges in Pune due to Finolex Group support and placement stats which is not in these years. Admission to 80% of seats is given through Central Admission Process (CAP) conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra. Whereas the remaining 20% of the seats are filled at the institutional level based on merit and then general category fees is to be paid.

Course Curriculum Overview :

After COVID and CET success, it was observed that engineering is a wise field to choose as I also have interest in it. The faculty I could say is experienced but not permanent. Usually the they taught us for 2 years and moved out for better offers from other colleges. Even I had one experience with faculty went on holiday and didn't came back due to college management issue then when student contacted faculty personally they got to know that they shifted to other college. So, then HOD arranged IT working Engineer for that subject and covered syllabus even setting classes on Sundays also. Exams are from SPPU, so college has nothing to do with it. As normal and standard exams like other engineering exams.

Internships Opportunities :

Thier are no internships offered by college itself. Students have to do internship at least once in 3rd year, but they need to apply outside only. However, their one more section of Finolex Hope Foundation in college section for research PPCRC where students usually apply for internship (unpaid) in research section.

Placement Experience :

Students from 5th semester are eligible for placement. There are 25+ companies visit our college and almost 80-100 students get placed every year. Lowest package - 2.45L Average package - 5L Highest Package - 12.4L Some of the placement companies are Elastic Run, TCS, Oracle, Accenture, etc Usually, it's just 50-60% students get placed in campus and then rest go for off-campus and higher education. After COVID, this college is hard hit with placement as there hiring partner list had dropped drastically and even the placement coordinator is changed sue to retirement of old coordinator.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

This structure is common for everyone, except in some part I'm mentioning category in bracket which is not paid by students but instead the government pays for it. For 1st year, Eligibility Fee - 550 SPPU Prorata - 218 Insurance - 701 Student Activity - 1500 Medical - 60 Sports - 50 Refundable Security Deposit - 5000 Exam Fee - 1000 Tuition Fee Seme I&II, Devlopment Fee (Govt Paid) - 111999 Total FE Fee = 121078 For 2nd Year, Student Activity - 1500 SPPU Prorata - 218 Sem I&II Exam Fee - 2000 Tuition Fee Sem I&II, Development (Govt Paid) - 111999 Total SE Fee = 115717 For 3rd Year, SPPU Prorata - 218 Training Charges - 1500 Student Activity - 1500 Exam Fee - 2000 Tuition Fee Sem I&II, Development Fee (Govt Paid) - 111999 Total TE Fees = 117217 For 4th Year, SPPU Prorata - 323 Student Activity - 1500 Alumni Association Membership Fee - 750 Exam Fee - 1000 + 1655 Tuition Fee Sem I&II, Development Fee (Govt Paid) - 111999 Total BE Fee = 117227 Total Graduation Fee = Rs. 471240

Campus Life :

Yes, social life in college is well here. They have various committees like IIC, GDSC, IEEE, ACM, NSS, ets which focusses on development of student's confidence and improving capabilities. They also have fest cultural Dhruva which allows students to enjoy and live to them at fullest. For sports, they have Askara event for 2 days which has various sports match's as per Years then some students are also selected to play at SPPU university level too from it. For Innovation, they have Entrepreneurship Challenge Competition arranged by IIC which takes care of arranging value session regarding innovation, entrepreneurship and research. For technical events they have Google GDSC, IEEE, CESA, ACM, etc. For social events like blood donation & food donation visits they have NSS, Yi, FESA, etc. Interesting part is this all is handled by students from 2nd year for all junior's exposure and meanwhile they learn a lot. For studious students they have well equipped library verified by IEEE too.

Hostel Facilities :

I didn't opt for Hostel as I'm Local person, but I have experience Hostel life little when I stayed in hostel during cultural fest as we used to prepare during night also since I was in Management team. The hostel had 3 option - single, double and triple occupant with ranging hostel fees from 55000 to 90000. All time electricity but water shortage was there, tankers used to come daily and sometimes hostel people had fights with management for poor facility of water arrangement. Regarding food, they have Mess there with subscription model, but quality was decent. Fast food is safest as freshly made and hygienic, but dinner or lunch is doubtful due to open smoke outlet at back side. If living near college, it's complete corporate are so the rates are too high as 25000 per month for 1BHK or 10000 each for sharing PG of 2 then food is mostly from Blueridge Food court which is again so costly area.

Placement Experience :

I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
