Accommodation is not included in these course fees. Living on or near the campus can cost more than it does near some other SPPU colleges because rental rates in Hinjewadi are higher. Students choosing private accommodation should budget separately for it.

I²IT Pune Admission Process

Admission to the I²IT Pune B.Tech programmes takes place through DTE Maharashtra’s Centralised Admission Process, commonly called CAP. The college does not conduct a separate entrance examination or offer admission outside this system. Government, institute, and management-quota seats must all follow DTE Maharashtra rules.

B.Tech Admission Process

Applicants must pass 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. The minimum required aggregate is 50%, reduced to 45% for reserved-category applicants. Admission also requires a valid MHT-CET or JEE Main score.

  • Complete MHT-CET registration through the Maharashtra CET Cell website and take the examination scheduled for April to May 2027. A valid JEE Main score can be used instead.
  • Once the MHT-CET result is released, register for DTE Maharashtra CAP and enter college and branch choices in the preferred order, including I²IT Pune.

B.Tech Lateral Entry

Students holding a diploma in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering may join directly in the second year. They need at least 45% in the diploma programme. Selection is completed through the DTE Maharashtra Lateral Entry CAP using MHT-CET Diploma scores.

M.Tech Admission

B.Tech graduates with at least 50% can apply for the M.Tech in Computer Engineering.
