I choose this course due to its Degree advantage, Leading college in Operations and Supply Chain Management. Most faculties are Ph.D. and graduate/Post-Graduate from IITs and top universities and have enriched experience. There were three modules in each year and two exams in every module that is one Mid-term and One End-term (Mid-term in Mid of the module and End term at the end of the module). As, NITIE gets the IIM tag/status, they are going to increase fees from 14 lakhs to 21 lakhs for a two-year MBA course. Government-assisted scholarships are there and Alumni scholarships are there.
There are many companies visited for SIP. Approx around 100+ companies visited. They recruit for various kinds of roles like marketing, finance, operations, consulting, supply chain management, etc. The task is given during the internship period.
All students are eligible to sit for SIP, CRP, and LRP(for work ex-students). There are many prominent recruiters who come for placement in the college. 2023 highest package was around 65 LPA and the average was around 28 LPA. 100% placements are there. My plans is to get in top management position in the company.
There is greenery everywhere on campus. One beautiful pond in the middle of the college makes the college more attractive. There are a lot of journals and books available in the library. There are many sports events like NPL, section wars, etc, and lots of extracurricular activities during every module. Many clubs and events are there such as sports clubs, admission clubs, branding clubs, operations clubs, consulting clubs, etc. The hostel is compulsory for each student. There is mess food on a monthly charge basis and it is affordable for all (145 per day charge for 4 times meals).
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .
