Amazing Life here at the campus. Avartan, Lakshya, Prerna, Section wars, IIMM Premiere League - all of these are mostly organized from Nov to Feb. A huge 3-story library is accessible to students with many many books for knowledge AC Classrooms, well-furnished benches & office seats, projector, mic, etc. The sports committee takes care of the college sports events. We have Teams for many sports but the college doesn’t support financially any external tournaments & also with kits for the players. Marketing groups, Consulting Groups, Alumni relations, media groups, etc many student-run groups are there. Food quality is good & healthy food is provided with nonveg twice a week. The menu gets updated every 3-4 months. The registration process was really smooth, just an ID proof and sign and it was done. Affordability is good as compared to the city of Mumbai. Not rented any room but the prices in the Powai area are very expensive.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
