Likes
- environment, couple friendly ambience, open for all campus, college gates are open all the time.
- Attendance not mandatory only a little fine is enough.
Dislikes
- Nothing to dislike about i wanted exactly a college like this
- Classmate are boring sometimes but a good friend is always found anyways.
Remarks :
The good aspects of this college are couple friendly environment, gate is open every time so no hassle, Attendance is not mandatory, exam center is the college itself. The bad aspects of this college are weak in sports, not many extracurricular activities, some professors were boring (not all).
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose this course because i love fictions. The this course helped me in shaping my mind to be more creative and efficient the faculties were very friendly. And also the exams were conducted timely.
Placement Experience :
There are some internships in unaware of but my purpose is to prepare for civil services and the course have greatly helped me in that. Placements are offered in some special programs such as bsw msw and other courses .
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The yearly fee of NEF College Lokhra is 45000 per year ,which is divided by 20000 on first semester and 25000 on the next semester. however the admission fees is 20000 and there are no reservations for any castes. the examination registration fees is 1400 ( centre fee included ). And all other activities such as labs and libraries are open to all we just have to make seperate identification card.
Campus Life :
To be honest not many sports are organised. Only one in January with some games like cricket, football, tennis, badminton, kabaddi etc . And other activities like farewell, fresher's, etc and also some other important dates were celebrated.
Hostel Facilities :
Ii wasn't opted for hostel but I think there is no college hostel provided. A PG affiliated to college is a good option (there are many). Book and bed pg is a good option as it is very near to the college i have some friends staying there.

There are teachers under which u can work and later they can surely help u land a intership, happened with one of my friend. But as of now department dont directly provide u internship. I dont wanna say vague or old numbers about average or highest placement data, so wont comment on it but overall its not that great but there are exceptions, like there are some brilliant minds who lands an enormous off campus placement.(My 2 seniors who r out of india right now) Last year Bharat electronics BHEL came and took 8 seniors for 13lpa package, some banking companies and TCs comes too. My plans after my degree is to get a job in electronic domain while also focusing on my photography and editing Passion Check my work on insta sodaa.edits
My life in B.Borooah College as a science student
Placement Experience :
Placements At B. Borooah College for a BSc Forget it. There's no placement scene like you hear about. No companies come for recruitment drives. The so-called placement cell just puts up notices for government job ads or maybe a local pharmacy needing a helper. I've never seen a single big name visit campus to hire BSc grads. So there's no list of recruiters, no number of offers, and definitely no talk of high packages. Zero students get placed from here in that way. The plan after the degree is everything. For me, it's going for an MSc. For others, it's preparing for government exams, doing B.Ed., or applying to labs and hospitals directly. This college gives you the valid degree, the ticket to sit for other exams or apply further. It doesn't get you a job. It makes you eligible to go find one yourself. Your future is 100% in your own hands after you walk out.

There are 100% internship in Bsc agriculture are also good the average packages 3 to 4 LPA the highest package is 12 LPA percentage of students getting placements are about 70 - 80% the eligibility criteria depends upon the performance of the student on its practical work and its CGPA

The ratio of placement and job is very poor, this is a college of general degree course, so after passing B.Sc., B.Sc. one does not get a job directly, in future one has to do Masters degree, PhD.But data from the last three/four year revealed that students did get jobs in SBI and some other organization, but the percentage was very low.That is why most of the students after completing normal graduation take admission in courses like Masters and BEd, Deled.And my plan in future is to do Masters from IIT or IISER, after that I want to do PhD.

Life as a BTech Student at IIT guwahati
Placement Experience :
there is a CPI criteria of around 6 to sit for placements. The highest packages for bachelors can go up to 1.5cr. Companies in coding include Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Ola, Uber, finance companies like JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs and many more. Highest paying companies are AlphaGrep, Quadeye, JaneStreet but that is very competitive with only people with the best results and from CS getting in. Many people also receive preplacement offers after internships. There are also many companies that visit for product management roles like Ola, Meesho etc. The placement process for Design students is separate. There are also core companies like Texas instruments, that visit.

I choose this course because I am interested in learning coding and I want to seek my future in this line. I am finding some difficulties in understanding the subjects and topics but I believe it is because I am new to this field and new to everything.
