- College campus is beautiful and very spacious .
- The college offers a good numbers of co-curricular activities like fest, Events and Concerts.
Dislikes
- Faculty is not very good at their jobs not well equipped nor experienced enogh.
- No good internship programs and job offer after graduation.
Remarks :
The main reason I choose this College is it is affordable and is situated close from my home . It is situated around 6 km from Guwahati . The good aspects of the college are It offers affordable education College follows strict rules for attendance and Examination. Bad aspects of the college are Faculty is not Great. Lab and classes are not very good in infrastructure It is affiliated to NEHU so we dont get early information on Exams and other activities you may not get even a week early notices for any exams or when the semester starts or ends.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The Course I chose is B.Tech CSE and though it is very interesting to me the faculty and teacher make it very boring they dont have proper Equipment to teach and are not very serious about the students They dont focus on all the students and if any student needs guidance there is no one to help.
Internships Opportunities :
For internship you can apply from 3rd year and very limited opportunities and i don't think they offer any good learning experiences. You have to create and complete a project assigned to your group. its not a solo project but a group project.
Placement Experience :
Placement and job opportunities arent great but okay. There are some companies that come to the campus for hiring but the numbers are very low . very few students gets job offer not many to choose from. There are internship programs available but they arent very notable companies.once in a while someone gets a good offer from a good company but it is very rare.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Admission fee Rs. 45000 . Per semester fee Rs. 52000. Exam Fee 3000 for each end semester exam Schooling fee Rs.7000 per year The above fees are increasing yeah year by around 20% approx. The College provide Scholarship on merit above 80% in Senior Secondary gets 20% discount on sem fee and more than 90% in Sr. Secondary gets 30% discount. They also offer Scholarship for Student with Low financial status according to their needs.
Campus Life :
Campus Life is actually pretty good There is bunch Students from different courses and campus itself is very pretty. It is located in a hilltop so the campus is beautiful but as it is in a hill there are bunch of slope around campus and is not very pleasant to walk around.
Hostel Facilities :
Since College is situated near Guwahati . I have not opted for hostel . Some of my mates have and Fee structure is as follows Admission fee for Hostel is Rs. 15000. Monthly Fee is Rs.7500. If you want single room it will cost around 10000 per month. But if you share room with 1 person it will be 9000 per month . and for 3 beds in one room it will cost 8000 per month. Hostel infrasctructure is okay but not great rooms arent very spacious and doesnt have 24/7 power as there is powercut. hostel offers 1-2 tubeLights ,2 fans and a socket for the shared rooms. Hostel doesnt provide AC. Mess offers 3 time meals a day and food isnt that great.

There is no placement cell in college,but i have planned for NORCET EXAM and NCLEX for job in foreign country and in the meantime i will join any private hospital which pay me good money and along with it i will prepare for NORCET

Placements are mid , my seniors got placed in various companies, and last year a seniot got placed in google with 20LPA i guess , the average package is low but the placement cell is trying to bring companies

The employment rate of my course is demanding so I opt this. Also there is campus opportunity for some courses available in the college. After biotechnology you can choose any profession like professor researcher etc .

Job opportunities from our college is not quite good, but our college is renowned for their excellence in commerce so employability after completion of course is not a big issue especially for me, i personally would like to get involved in financial sectors

Since it's a college affiliated under NEHU, so there's only graduation course here. But if you want to do masters you have go to NEHU for that. Only then you will get a good placement. But I had friends in other departments they were given the opportunity to sit for placement interview but again the package isn't as high as someone would get after post graduation.

Placement opportunities were not directly available but many companies and institutions scouted our students through seminars and programmes for further job after the degree. The package differed from student to student and they were offered individually to them so it was hard to know the exact number.

80% placement is sure 100% sure 23k for the new minimum it is 4 to 5 lakh package which is amazing as a fresher and the PG rooms is also good idli do output percentage of students getting plus mint and criteria is from the website.

The Criteria differs from department to department .some of the visited recruiters are Sbi,cisco,Pnb etc. Hight is 14lpa and lowest is 4lpa The percentage of the students getting placements should be 80%and above. MA

Since I’m still under graduation , I don’t know much about the placements here. But my plans after my graduation is to persue MBA from a good university. But as I’ve heard from my seniors, the placements here are quite good and many of the students grab the placement opportunities that are offered here.
