A fun MIT college life
Likes
- Many good sports facilities especially in cricket and football which are my interests
- Also others sports like hockey, basketball, volleyball, tt, etc and have womens participation also
- Fun college life with great atmosphere and many thi g's to do and places to go near the college
Dislikes
- One of things is that my hostel Block is down a slope so it is difficult and tiring to get to college but you get habituated to it
- Nothing much to dislike about it if you want to have a balanced and fun college life
Remarks :
Good atmosphere and a lot of opportunities in different fields... Very good sports facilities especially cricket and football which I am interested in and also a very good alumni network.. Also many positive feedbacks from known friends and seniors
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course was very interesting as it has my subject of which is physics.. The teachers and faculty are highly qualified and have phds in their respective fields and have vast experiences in their fields.. The teachers provide us with notes and guve very good explanations.. The term exams in 1st year very at the right level not too tough but not too easy.. Concentrating in class and studying well before exams would get you too 8-8 5 gpa
Internships Opportunities :
I havent opted for any Internships as such but there are many opportunities.. And i have to apply for internships in my 3rd year at least.. Also there are some technical clubs which help you get some good internships and also foreign exchange programs
Placement Experience :
As far as I know you need to have a minimum of 7 cgpa to be eligible for placements.. Many big companies come for placements and have many opportunities.. I am planning to do masters in on of my branch specialities
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Yearly for Aeronautical engineering btech 2nd year onwards 431000 1st year 325000 for all the students Each year the course fees increases for every batch but it stays constant once you are admitted. Eg: my batch students have to pay 431000 from 2nd year onwards then my fees will remain 431000 throughout my 4 years
Campus Life :
The campus life is very fun.. I enjoy it a lot.. I made a real good group of friends and am very happy with the college life... They conduct many programs and fests and the student plaza is always a busy place thriving with the students and a very good place to get to know many people.. The sports life is very good.. I am in the cricket team and I got a lot of exposure... We had our own fest revels which has a cultural and a sports fest.. We also went to bits hyd which we won and also have our mit cl which gives the opportunity for everyone to showcase their skills and also many opportunities for different sports like football, basketball, tt, tennis, badminton, etc... There also many technical and non technical clubs and student projects which give valuable experiences and help build your cv for your future
Hostel Facilities :
I had block 20 in my first year and block 19 in my 2nd and both the hostel rooms are same but have the best layout as it is kind of a flat where people have their own room and also a common room so we have a roommate and also our own private space.. My mess is fc2 and it has good quality food as far as messes go as it provides good quality food for 4 meals a day..

For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc,shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview

There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum

The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement
BSc Physics at Jain University
Course Curriculum Overview :
Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.
MSc Physics at Christ

All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.

Placement Experience :
For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
