For many students, pursuing studies in pharmacy field is a goal from start. For many it's an option B also. Many students get admitted after missing chance of getting a seat in medical college.I am also one of them. For undergrad in pharmacy, this college is aspired by many. At the time of my admission, the only criteria for admission was through the merit list based on 12th percentage in PCB/M subject. There was no GD or interview. Although this can change in near future.
I chose this course because of my interest in medicine & also because I couldn't get a seat in government medical College. The faculty here is highly educated and very much invested in research. The teaching method of some teachers is really good & interactive. But some teacher bore me as well. But every professor is well versed in their respective subject. Each lecture theatre is provided with a projector also. In a semester, there are 3 sets of exams, i.e., 2 sessional examinations ( around every 2 months) & end sem exams. There are theory as well as practical examination. The difficulty varies with subject.
I have not opted for any internships yet. But a dispensing or industrial training internship is necessary for all students & all of them go for it. Other internship opportunities are also there such as in some companies or in research.
Placement opportunities after undergrad is low, but still some students on basis of their skills, gets placed. For me, I am going to pursue for post graduation degree & that's my plan for my employability.

Life at campus is usually enjoyable, certainly with friends. There are no fests conducted. Sports & extra curricular activities are limited mostly due to construction, but still students play. There are many clubs such as-1) Dance club (Malang) 2) Music club (Raag) 3) Drama club (Fitoor) 4) Art club (Aakriti) 5) Photography club (Paridrishya) 6) Vocabulary related club (verve) There is a ngo society also named "Umeed" working actively in campus. There is also a Rotaract club which is very active. The library is well equipped with good furniture & all the necessary reference books & journals.
I am a day scholar. Although of what I have heard, the hostel infrastructure is quite small but manageable. The mess food is definitely not on par with the home cooked meal, but it does the work. Registration for hostel rooms is done during the admission process. The nearest locality for renting a PG or a room is at saket or Madangir.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
