Likes
- I like the college's location. It is located near the Andheri station which makes it convenient for me to commute directly to my internship Work place after my college hours. Travel options such as metro is also easily available.
- The college infrastructure includes various buildings assigned for each course. Eg- Aided courses, self finance courses have separate buildings. The college has water coolers on every floor along with washrooms.
- The campus life is fun with all various activities and fests held around the year. The crowd of the college is very well cultured. A strict observation of the Anti ragging policy makes the college experience secure and safe.
Dislikes
- Due to the strict observance of 75% attendance policy the college demands a letter from only an MBBS doctor in case of absence due to medical emergency. Students who do not particularly visit an MBBS doctor face issue for their attendance in absence due to medical issues
- I dislike the fact that sometimes attendance is not given when students miss thier lectures due to inter collegiate fests.
Remarks :
I chose the college due to its considerate timings given during admission process along with affordability in the fees. There are no group discussions, interviews or written tests for admissions. The entire admission process is done online
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course aligns with my passion for media and journalism hence it turned out to be my choice. The faculties use theoretical methods of teaching. Exams are held twice in a year during the end of each semester with the difficulty level being mediocre.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes I have opted for an internship. I'm currently interning with WorldWide Media (Times Group). However the internship was not offered by the college. I applied for it on recruitment websites. I get a stipend of rupees 5000. I work at WWM as a content writer. I'm assigned with the task to write and upload content on their website for thier automobile magazine .
Placement Experience :
The placement cell of the college has just started last year. I plan on working in the broadcast media after getting the degree. Currently I'm interning with WorldWide Media (Times Group) as I'm in the second year.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The yearly fees is around 25000. It increased by some 200 rupees this year. A registration fees of rupees 300 is mandatory while admission process. Students from reservation categories have to pay less fees than those from general category.
Campus Life :
Bhavan’s College holds it's own fest called O2 which is conducted in the month of December. The classrooms are equipped with all necessary facilities such as projectors. Extra curricular activities like intra and iter departmental fests are held. The BAMMC department holds it's own fest called Echo.
Hostel Facilities :
Bhavan's College does not have a hostel for students. However there are hostels close to the college areas such as JVPD. I have rented a PG just 20 minutes away from the college in Lokhandwala, Andheri West.

An industry focused learning experience
Placement Experience :
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
Reality of niat
Placement Experience :
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.

The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Average college provide average facilities

Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.

Course Curriculum Overview :
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .

Placement Experience :
There are the placements are done in the final year of college, You are eligible for the appear in the placements drive you have to score good scores in the semester exams. There are the lowest 3LPA and highest 6LPA packages are offered by the companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, BOAT, SBI , Ultra Tech, Mahindra, Capgemini etc. Students have to maintain their SGPA up to 8.0 CGPA.

engineering course curriculum is very old specially for university batch students my batch get admission in 2022 at that our college is not get autonomous status. passing semester exams is little hard in university compare to autonomous batch. faculties teachings methods are very old. And not practical learning provided.

there are lots of mnc company visted college every year, most of companies have there eligiblity criteria is 60% and above overall from 10th, the biggest tech companies like tcs, wipro, accenture, deloitte, infosys, the average package is around 3lpa, every year 50 to 70% students getting placed.

The placements are nice. Majorly Hafiz contractor firm take students. But a lot of firms do come fruit placement. Take interview and hire students. Last year a lot of students got placements based on their portfolios and skills And got salaries ranging from 2,50,000-6,00,000 Annually.
