Remarks :

It has a great goodwill for commerce students . The teachers were great and their teaching method are very easy to understand. You have to apply online in college portal for addmission and also have to buy the physical prospectus from college and then the addmission day just you have went to the addmission room and then one by one marks wise they called your name and at least 55 persent in 12th needed if you want to take a major or specialisation.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I generally want to do b.com management from beginning and also it was one of the good college for b.com in my home area .... All the teachers were highly qualified and have phd or masters and teaching method were unique

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Genrally I get addmission under a govt scheme so it was completely free , the general fees is for admission is around 7k to 9k . There is no monthly fees you have pay exam fees registration fees around 500 before exams

Campus Life :

College festival and freshers and also college week were great experience I've had in my life. Also environment is very friendly and I made some of the bestest friend in life there in the college and have really fun days there.

Hostel Facilities :

During my college days, the canteen food was a mix of simplicity and affordability. While the meals served weren’t gourmet by any means, they were consistently decent, providing the basic nourishment needed to get through the day. The menu typically featured a variety of options, from local dishes to snacks, which, though not extravagant, were satisfying enough. The best part was that it was all quite affordable, making it easy for students on a tight budget to eat without worry.Similarly, the hostel accommodations were designed with students’ financial constraints in mind. The rooms were basic but comfortable, offering all the essential amenities needed for a student’s life. Though not luxurious, they provided a safe and conducive environment for studying and resting. The hostel fees were pocket-friendly, which was a significant relief for many, allowing students to focus on their studies without the burden of high living costs.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Good-moderate faculty but maintenance of every other thing is very much not on time The authority doesn’t seem to be concerned about the students and delays every work and at the last moment you will be running around .

SUPPORTIVE FACULTY AND GOOD LEARNING ENVIRONMENT

Placement Experience :

While the college does not guarantee 100% corporate placement, it facilitates campus interviews and internships. Companies like Amazon, Flipkart, and Tata have rec recruited or offered internships to a percentage of students.

Dream Campus, Not-So-Dream Jobs

Placement Experience :

There are teachers under which u can work and later they can surely help u land a intership, happened with one of my friend. But as of now department dont directly provide u internship. I dont wanna say vague or old numbers about average or highest placement data, so wont comment on it but overall its not that great but there are exceptions, like there are some brilliant minds who lands an enormous off campus placement.(My 2 seniors who r out of india right now) Last year Bharat electronics BHEL came and took 8 seniors for 13lpa package, some banking companies and TCs comes too. My plans after my degree is to get a job in electronic domain while also focusing on my photography and editing Passion Check my work on insta sodaa.edits

My life in B.Borooah College as a science student

Placement Experience :

Placements At B. Borooah College for a BSc Forget it. There's no placement scene like you hear about. No companies come for recruitment drives. The so-called placement cell just puts up notices for government job ads or maybe a local pharmacy needing a helper. I've never seen a single big name visit campus to hire BSc grads. So there's no list of recruiters, no number of offers, and definitely no talk of high packages. Zero students get placed from here in that way. The plan after the degree is everything. For me, it's going for an MSc. For others, it's preparing for government exams, doing B.Ed., or applying to labs and hospitals directly. This college gives you the valid degree, the ticket to sit for other exams or apply further. It doesn't get you a job. It makes you eligible to go find one yourself. Your future is 100% in your own hands after you walk out.

This is one of the best colleges in our Kamrup district, students should take admission without any

Placement Experience :

The ratio of placement and job is very poor, this is a college of general degree course, so after passing B.Sc., B.Sc. one does not get a job directly, in future one has to do Masters degree, PhD.But data from the last three/four year revealed that students did get jobs in SBI and some other organization, but the percentage was very low. That is why most of the students after completing normal graduation take admission in courses like Masters and BEd, Deled. And my plan in future is to do Masters from IIT or IISER, after that I want to do PhD.

Life as a BTech Student at IIT guwahati

Placement Experience :

there is a CPI criteria of around 6 to sit for placements. The highest packages for bachelors can go up to 1.5cr. Companies in coding include Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Ola, Uber, finance companies like JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs and many more. Highest paying companies are AlphaGrep, Quadeye, JaneStreet but that is very competitive with only people with the best results and from CS getting in. Many people also receive preplacement offers after internships. There are also many companies that visit for product management roles like Ola, Meesho etc. The placement process for Design students is separate. There are also core companies like Texas instruments, that visit.
