There were written tests, testing entreprenial and technical skills. It was online itself and was not that difficult. After coming into college there was another test to see the potential and where you stand. This was a basic physics and maths test.
The academics here is too tiring as well as fast paced. The difficulty level is very advanced with a lot of components . However, the faculty is amazing and very approachable. It is very easy to have a simple chat with them and they are also eager to know about their students.
Not yet. I will this year. But bcg, arcesium, and companies like Jm also come offering roles like consultant, analyst, software developer engineer , etc. they also give a good package for an internship. Above 1lpa.
The placement and job opportunities are great till now. Our career placement cell works hard to get good companies and also companies that match our job description so that we can align with the industry whole we pursue the course. Around 80% are placed for internships. For now, no batch has passed out but it's believed that 60% of them will get PPO's.
It is increasing Currently Tution - 2.5 lpa per sem Mess and hostel (compulsory) - 1.5 lpa per sem The fees is same for all the courses and there are a lot of people with 25% tution scholarships. Moreover there are also people with financial aid
The social life is pretty dead on campus as it is new. We don't get many permissions for organizing events or going to any. Plus we have not had a fest since the day plaksha was formed. Although, sports is an acceleration here.
The hostel and mess are compulsory and hence, one has to opt for that. The hostel is pretty nice but the food for the price they demand can be improved. Although overall I feel that the hostel and mess are better than normal private colleges.
if you are above 6.0 cgpa and no reappears and backlogs your are eligible for 70 % of companies. recently TCS,AMAZON,COGNIZANT also came for placement highest is 51LPA,6LPA avg. 80% of each batch is placed.
To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.
I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.
The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.
As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.
Overall Placement rate is about 60 to 70 percent for every branches . Recruiters provided descent opportunites to the students. Above 7 CGPA students get eligible. Some recruiter are Infosys, TCS, wipro, Siemens etc
College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys, tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year
Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.
The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement. There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
