Dislikes
- The college's infrastructure is the best in all the DU colleges, it has well maintained walls and buildings,it has many chemestry labs and computer labs , offices, with Acs in every room , it has well maintained washrooms in every floor, water coolers are present in every floor , the campus life is good too the college also has many eca societies and clubs .
- The faculty is great too , with well qualified teachers and professors.
Remarks :
The college's infrastructure is the best over all the Delhi University colleges, it has working wifi connections, ac rooms library with lots of books , hygienic washrooms in every floor. I had given an exam called CUET which was needed to enter any central government colleges.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose this course as I liked commerce, business etc . The faculty of my college is very well qualified and experienced, they have published many books of their own of the subjects they teach too , they conduct class tests and practicals frequently to keep us concentrated in the subject. Term exams are a slight difficult ones but are useful.
Internships Opportunities :
Internships are available from the University of Delhi, like vise chancellor's internship schemes etc. which is paid , the stipend can range from 4 to 10k approx, in this internship you can gain experience and knowledge working with the vise chancellor of Delhi University.
Placement Experience :
For placement I think you need to have a cgpa above 6 , few visited recruiters are Amazon , Flipkart etc . Arround 60% of the students are placed if they have right skills and experience. I plan to get placed in Amazon or I will try to get admission in a master's degree first and try to get in a well recognised company as a manager.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The year vise fee differs slightly like 17000 ,20000,18000,etc . Financial aids are available for students from sc st categories every year, A form can be filled for the scholarship to be claimed and submitted to the office.
Campus Life :
There are frequent fests and parties in our college conducted by ECA or societies and clubs. There's a music society of which I'm also a part of , a dance society, acting society, and many others . Books are always available in our college library with lots of genres and topics. Also there are numerous sports teams in our college from basketball to football, tennis, cricket and what not . There's also a Gym in our college, and a playing room with chess , carrom etc.
Hostel Facilities :
Didn't opt for a hostel,but heard it's also great with 3 time food options, ac rooms , fridges, washing machines, good caretaker, space for playing, a party hall and they often go for their own outings as well.Its only a girls hostel.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!

du sol provides placement in news 18, aaj tak and job opportunities as according to the course of student pursuing. just visit to du sol north campus head quarter ask for the facility they will provide . bad thing is they dont provide on regular basis.

The placement cell is quite active. There are always placement and internship fairs every year and even other college students can join them. The placement recruiters are from top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, etc. Although, not every one gets in these companies but then, there are other companies as well like Finshots, Voice Your Vichaar, etc. The average package is 3LPA and highest package is 8LPA.
