It was the first college i cleared the cutoff for and the other cutoffs i cleared later wasn't good enough. I was not interested in those colleges so, i chose this college. There were no group discussions or interview. But, now you have to clear the cuet exam.
The course was pretty good with all the subjects complementing each other perfectly. You'll find the course pretty much easy in the first 4 semesters and moderate in the remaining semesters. The faculty is really good all the teachers are supportive .
I have opted for no internships . There were rarely one provided to us . Not even the academically best students were getting internships, you have to try yourself to get opportunities the college provide you with nothing.
There is a placement cell in the college. But, it's not good enough . I haven't heard of anyone getting a big placement from my batch . They'll just post openings on their insta handle . Don't expect any placements from the college you'll end up being disappointed.
The fees was 12000 for the first two years and 12345 for the third year. I opted for no scholarships but there were some that I wasn't aware of . The fees for other categories was 2000 extra in each years.
My life in the campus was amazing had so many friends and i was a part of the art and craft society. Made so many amazing artist friends and the infrastructure was beautiful, we had a huge ground to chill during free time. You just have to be a little extrovert to feel comfortable or you'll get lost in the shuffle. We have many sports their like cricket , football, tennis, kabbadi , volleyball etc. There are also other societies like the dancing society , music society, literature society and many more.
There is no hostel for male students but there is one for the female students and the procedure to get in the hostel was :- whoever has scored the highest in 12th class will be considered first. I don't have more knowledge about the insides of the hostel.
IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.
The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
