- talking about my likings - 1) ill say college environment, eventhough nagpur has high temperature but the trees and plants here in college made the temperature low and cool. 2) faculty is good and experienced proffessors who were pursued MSc,PhD,MTech and so on...
- i like the campus life , because a s im from a village i didnt went to parks,malls,cafes often but after coming here im enjoying a lot. and hostles are so good and private. from 2nd year , youll be allocated single rooms where you can study more concetretly .
Dislikes
- things i didint like is INTYM - 1st years-8pm(boys) and 9pm(girls) and the ouside gates of the college will be closed by 10:30pm. it will be difficult to enjoy in 1st year that much beacuse labs will up to 6pm and it will take atleast half an hour to come to room and take snacks . so there will no more sufficient time to go to ground.
- as i am from cse, i didnt like the way of teaching cuz they will teach in C language throughout btech . but in the software industries everyone is using oop like cpp,java ... so it will affect our placement sections
Remarks :
the main reasons why i chosed this college is - Placements, Greenary , good playgrounds and mainly it is one of the top7 nits. As we know nagpur is a 2nd capital of maharastra ,so it is well developed ,we can enjoy good city life. For any soprts player, this will be a good platform for you guys, cuz you will be taught how to play sports by some experienced sports persons. Coming to the cons : Food is somewhat problem , i not meant to say that food is not good, but we will got bored as we used to eat that food daily cuz daily routine food. Admission process is so easy , nothing to worry . Just take the documents whatever the informed to bring through vnit official webpage and at the time of admission submit them ,thats all. To qualify and get the admission here, you have to crack JEE mains exam. cut-off's are different for different branches for CSE it is around 5000 CRL, for ECE - 7000 and so on.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Coming to the reason why i chose CSE over other course is : Future is all depended on Computer Technology. so why i will take other courses if i know that AI,IT will rules the world in future. not only that , in cse there will be no hectic shedule for classes there will be atmost 5-6 hours of study hours. Qualification of faculty : most of the proffessors were qualified PhD,MSc and some other valuable degress form top colleges like IIT's,NIT's. Teaching method varies form prof to prof, but on an average it is good. Some of the faculty gives us notes,shares pdf's, assignments and so on . while some of them didnt even send the slides which were used to taught us in class. Exams: for a semester, you will have 2 exams , 1- mid-sem and other one is end-sem. mid0sem will be held after 1 and half month and end-sem will be held at the end of the semister. Difficulty level - difficulty level will be average and above average.
Internships Opportunities :
I didnt opted to any internship but my seniors who i know got selected for internships form companies like JPMC,L&T,ORACLE and so on.... with a stipend of 50000-150000. To sit in the placements sections , you must got atleast 7-7.5 cgpa . projects they done are some software applications like covid vaccine seat booking,banking,ai bots,maps and so on.......
Placement Experience :
To select for placements , first you have to clear all subjects without backlogs with minimum of 6-6.5 cgpa. Recently our seniors got placed in some companies like Oracle,JPMC,L&T,hyundai,tata motors,maruthi suzuki and so on... Highest package is 64 lakhs and average package is 9 lakhs( overall). average package varies from course to couse, for cse-11 lakhs,ece-9.5 lakhs. placement percentage is 92%.... My plans after getting degree is attending to placements and to crack job at my dreamed companies like google,facebook,meta ....
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
the year-wise fee paid = tution-67000 per semester hostel-40000 per semester one time fee = 15000 throughout the btech life. if you are from OBC,EWS and have an income below 1lakh , you will receive total tution fee as fee remission and if below 5lakh , you will receive 75% of tution fee. if you are from SC,ST , you have to pay 2000 per semister and you will receive that money as remission . if you are not from SC,ST dont prefer to take shcolarships because remission will be automatically cancelled if you apply for scholarships. For SC,ST's you can apply any scholarships you want.
Campus Life :
fests and months : cultnie- september freshers -october DG- october intramurals - November axis- januray consortum - february euporia - february IG - march. Books : library in vnit contains vast amount of various research books,journals which helps us in studies. we have digital library also. Sports : as i said earlier, if you are intrested in sports this will be a good college to choose. playgrounds are there and we can play so many game like - cricket,football,volleyball,badmintion,lawntennis,khokho,chess,carroms,kabaddi .... Clubs : for cultural - tolly,bolly,911,hallabol, octaves,mallu... tech clubs - axis,ieee,acm...
Hostel Facilities :
If you are a rookie, you will definetly enjoy food for some weeks later you will be get bored as the food is same asusal. but food quality is good and healthy. you will be served daily morning with eggs,banans,bread and chicken twice in a week with roti and rice. there will be no extra hostel regestration proccess, at the time of admisson proccess hostel regestration will take place and it is around 40000 per semister. For shelter to parents, college will provide guest rooms for parents in college itself with less affordability of 400-600 per day.so there is need of renting outside.

I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track

no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.

The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Average college provide average facilities

Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.

Course Curriculum Overview :
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .

There are the placements are done in the final year of college, You are eligible for the appear in the placements drive you have to score good scores in the semester exams. engineering course curriculum is very old specially for university batch students my batch get admission in 2022 at that our college is not get autonomous status. passing semester exams is little hard in university compare to autonomous batch. faculties teachings methods are very old. And not practical learning provided.

The placements are nice. Majorly Hafiz contractor firm take students. But a lot of firms do come fruit placement. Take interview and hire students. Last year a lot of students got placements based on their portfolios and skills And got salaries ranging from 2,50,000-6,00,000 Annually.
