The admission for btech and b arch admission at Vnit nagpur is done by jee main papper 1 and after that you have to go through josaa councelling on which you can give your priorities on which you will get alloted on the basis of jee mains rank.

Visvesvaraya National Institute Of Technology Nagpur is a institute of National importance which comes on 41st on NIRF ranking and 6 th among all nits. The college provides bachelor of technology degree in 8 different departement, the curriculum mainly focus on the overall development of the students. The faculties are very approachable for students.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
For the general students and OBC students who have family income more than 5 lakh have to pay a amount of 135450 and students who have income between 1 to 5 lakh have to pay one third of this. Students having income less than 1 lakh have complete remission on tution fee student.
Campus Life :
The life at Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology is really a good experience for the students who led a stress full life in last 2year jee prepartion the campus has really nice infrastructure and facilites you are having a simming pools and well equiped gym sports facilites inside the campus. The clubs in vnit are really active the provides the students to get a hold on there field of intrest and comming about the social life the college is situated at centre of the city you will get metro after walking 10 minutes from the gate of college so that you can travel across nagpur easily.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel at Visvesvaraya National Institute Of Technology are pretty decent like you will get a double sharing room for boys on first year and after you are getting single room for girls they will get single room from 3rd year the food at the mess are decent

Placement Offers were Good on Records till now Collage has its own Placement Department. The Placement Department is operated by professionals. It aims at providing placement to students in reputed companies with handsome packages around 80% placement was done in our batch. All the students got chance to prove themselves in campus placements. Companies like Amazon, TCS, IBM, Make my trip, Amazon, flipkart, Infosys, HDFC, ICICI etc. visit the campus offers an average package ranges 3 - 4.5 LPA going on to Highest was 28 - 45 LPA Companies conduct interview sessions, GD, test for selection of students.

Placement was Good as there is a placement cell in the college that looks on managing placement for students by inviting Companies from different sectors Companies like Amazon Deloitte, Accenture, Reliance, HCL, Hyundai, HDFC bank, YES Bank, Axis bank etc. These companies make a number of offers to students offers an average package ranges 3 LPA and highest was 28 - 32 LPA. Companies conduct interview sessions, practical test, GD for selection of students and students needs to qualify all rounds to get selected also Internship opportunities was provided by college to give students practical experience and to give knowledge. Internship was also provided by college to give students practical experience and knowledge about current changing environment.

i chose computer engineering because i was interested in the technical field and wanted to build my career in engineering. the faculty were qualified and helpful, and their teaching was a mix of thoery ,ppts and practical. term exams were conducted on time and the difficulty was moderate

Placement Experience :
Placement opportunities are not so widely discussed by our faculty. My plan after the program is to appear for ugc net exam and to become an assistant professor. The minimum salary for assistance professor post is approx 35000.

The placements & job opportunities in the campus placements is good in our college like honestly it is good and also it is reason for students to take admission because there are many company coming to college. The average package is around i will say is 4.5lpa of all branches and here ENTC and MECHANICAL branch have more than 96% placement rate The highest package is of 22lpa which was from CS. The ground reality the percentage of students placed from this college is around 70% like the core branches students have higher placement rates and technincal branches placement rate is of around 70%-80% the core branches students also gets placed in tech. The main recruiters are TCS,ESDS,WIPRO,TECH MAHINDRA,INFOSYS,L&T and more. NVIDIA was also there but last year they banned the college because some students cheated in online interview.

Placement Experience :
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track

The number of companies coming for campus placements go down with each passing year. The companies that do come (TresVista mostly) are quite poor in terms of work ethic and payout methods. This year, around 40-45 students from the graduating batch got campus placement out of the 110-120 that applied.

Placement are very good there are multiple job opportunities provided in a college multiple companies also visit for the placement in second third year students also internship provided and multiple students get PPO from that internship so but in 2024 the internship and placement both ratio is little low or the highest placement gone till now is only 35 lakh per annum
