Great campus but poor management

- The social life is good here. People are nice. Life somehow goes good here
- The campus is great, robust infrastructure and 1200 acres campus giant.
Dislikes
- The management is worse here. They don't give attention about students
- The curriculum is another bad part. Same routine life here
Remarks :
I had to clear JEE mains and then got a seat after counselling. Personally I chose the college because of the exposure in the campus. And the opportunity of getting placement even being from a general science background
Course Curriculum Overview :
Course curriculum is worse here. They repeat the same age old curriculum and don't even change those. Professor are a mess here. Academic management is also worse. But still there are some extraordinary level reasearch going on here. You can work easily under any proffesor
Internships Opportunities :
I have done it in e yantra IIT Bombay. I got it from a competition but yes u can always go for cold mailing proffesors to get internships. Getting an internship is not really that difficult. People get pretty good internships here
Placement Experience :
Internship opportunities are good when it comes to research side. I hv seen people doing internship in foreign universities. Getting a placement is always tough. Being from physics. But you can apply off campus. Most of the people here go abroad for higher studies
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Per semester fee comes around 50000 with mess fee 25000 course fee 7500 and rest other hostel and miscellaneous fees they also include medical fee, examination fees , sac fees. The course fees is still less than the btech ones
Campus Life :
Social life is good here, but this declines over the period of time. But there are various clubs and groups. You can get like minded people here and that's easy. Feat goes on over the year and life is pretty good gere
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel is good, but there has been an issue of maintenance. It's well established but the management authority are stupid. They won't even listen to students. U have to run behind then for days to get a work done

After completion of this course go for national health mission recruitment In odisha opsc amo exam conducted many students were passed the exam from our college and got posted. You can go for many pharmacy company 100 percent of students getting placement

There campus placement here are ok startups came here and many big mncs like tcs, flipkart etc. Some department get companies like the MBA but that is an exceptional case. No other department participate in campus drive or placement cell. Students need to apply off campus to get placed.

for placement students need to get atleast 7cgpa. The placement is decent where most students around 85% get placed . Main companies are accenture, tcs, infosys , cognizant etc. Highest package was 9lpa and average was around 4lpa . I plan to work in one of the companies i get placed in.

Placement Experience :
Students are eligible for placements from third year onwards on a condition that the student has good skills and created good projects. Companies are still coming to ITER since July, various companies like Wipro, Xerox, Paytm, Flipkart, DELL, Microsoft, TCS Infosys and various other MNCs and startups come to the campus for placements and also provide pre placement offers. Currently I have no idea about the highest and average packages as per the company and the profiles offered, but I know that the highest package offered in Iter has been 43 lakhs pa and the average package is around 6lacs-8lacs. There are certain criteria set by the college for the students to be eligible to sit in the placement, out of that more than 85% to 90% of eligible students have secured placements. Students also get internships from second year. After I get a degree and if I land a suitable job then it's okay otherwise I will look to get into civil services or defence.

It has average placements. They also provide training for that. You will be eligible from 4th year. They also provide practice schools where the eligibility is 8 cgpa. They also provide training in the 3rd and 4th year. The companies which I know are Infosys Accenture Capgemini Genpact Mindfire solutions Mindtree. Tcs. pwC Deloitte Inovaare Tata Power Cosmovolt Tech Mahindra etc. They mostly provide the packages in the range 3.5-6 lpa ..The average oncampus placement this year was 4.5 lpa and the highest was 14.5 lpa. The 30 lpa shown was off campus. So you can get jobs according to your skills and cgpa . Overally the placement is just average but roi may be better.

Actually as I am a undergraduate I don't exactly know how much is the eligibility criteria for placement but I know that the guest lecturers are given according to number of classes they do in a month My plans after getting a degree is to give jrf net /gate and to further study in reasearch lines.

Eligibility criteria for placements are based on cgpa cut off and no backlogs are allowed. A few companies that came for recruitment are Infosys, Tcs , Accenture , Cognizant , Dell , Deloitte . Profiles offered are mostly of software engineer and average package is around 600000 per annum . My plan after getting degree is to go into software engineering job .

The placement scenario is quite good as most of the students get placed before the completion of course with a decent package. Average package is around 8lpa and the highest package till now is 60+ lpa.

Yes, we do have a placement cell over here and is quite good. Many well-known companies come to recruit their employees, and the companies are quite satisfied over our senior's hard work and smartness. Many companies like Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Delloyd, etc., come to give good placements to the students at the college. I don't know the exact numbers, but the highest package was around 45 lakhs, and the average package was around 5 lakhs per annum. The average percentage of students getting placements is roughly around 70% to 80%. Currently for me, I don't have a solid plan to what to do but you never know some miracle might happen. Just joking, I do have a plan for the near future, but I am little worried about the future that on one before me start that initiative that I have thought about it.
