Course Curriculum Overview :
Campus life is also good, completely ragging free college, all seniors are too supportive and helping .the faculties of the college are very supportive they help like a parent. The faculties are well qualified.

Campus Life :
There is many fests organised in college there is kaushalam and sports which is held in january february. In the library there is availability of books you not need to purchase from market . There is many events held like hackathon and many others.
Hostel Facilities :
There is only a single hostel for 1st year girl students but 2-3 hostels for boys Starting from the 2nd year all the students are alloted hostels based on the merit list and the merit list is prepared based on the cgpa criteria. Those with higher cgpa have higher chances of getting hostel rooms. The hostel rooms need to be cleaned and maintained by the students. It approximately cost us 9k per semester for the hostel excluding the mess charges. Mess charges are near about 2500 per month.

I choose Mechanical Engineering as my course here, as i am interested in Automotive, and also this institute is near my home town. There are permanent faculty members present in institute. There is not much placement opportunities for the students of biotechnology compared to the students of b.tech. basically the placement is based on a merit list so not All students are benefited with this kind of placements only the students who wear like gold medalist where awarded this placement. Placenta for whole college is going on good not ver best coz of recession but yeah core branches placements are nice specially metallurgy and chemical branch . our branch average package previous year is 8.7 lac and for this year it is 8.3 lack almost all are placed. For cse and IT branch placement is not going well as I said before due to recession . over all.avg pckg of nit raipur is 9.5 lac gor all branch.

If you are from top branches like CSE, IT then you'll numbers of internship oppurtinities but for lower branches the intership oppurtinities are less. Mostly all the student get placed through campus placement but someone left the can try offcampus oppurtinities.

Top companies visited Nit Raipur for placements are Google, Adobe, Microsoft, Samsung, Arcisium, Phonepe etc. Highest package offered was 55 lacs per annum. and for IT branch Average package was 18.11 lacs per annum.
