Remarks :
The most important factor of choosing this college is my course B.tech in Automobile which is only available in few of the colleges in my city and state, and thankfully one of the college who is providing this course is near by me so it don't make me to searched any of the colleges outside for this course that was very good at that time. About the admission I got select through the CGPET exam which is the college entrance exam of Chhattisgarh, but you don't need a good rank for admission just give the exam and you are eligible for the college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I like to get involve in the automotive sector specially the cars and bikes, I have a very good interest on this field so i thought lets learn how those machines were made and designed. Everything is about the curiosity they are complex machines, and understanding how they work can be fascinating. faculties of this college is not that professionals, they are educated but are opted in low wages so that's why they only give the basic knowledge and do not share out of the box, they'll come and teach you from what is written inside the book and their daily teaching routine is to come and give notes we have to write long paragraphs for hours just to write down the notes and the class over without not much of explanation which we call the notes class. The exams question papers are made by other university so the exam is not conducted by the college itself they tied up with the CSVTU UNIVERSITY which is one of the best university of bhiali.
Internships Opportunities :
They haven't provide any internship program, I should have to find it by my self they even not help you while it comes to internship programs and do not gave the permission for long term internships, i literally lost month of time to get the sign from HOD for my internship still did not get. they don't support you here.
Placement Experience :
Companies come, Students place this is the rule of every college so, by following this rule the companies came for placements but I never feel that I would get a job from this college because of the Branch which I chosen they mostly focus on the CSE Branch that's why I have some issues with the placement here. But if you are the student of CSE or specialized branch of CSE you'll find the placement here, the packages here ranges from 3LPA to 6LPA.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
My semester fees are 36000 rupees per semester and if we count as the yearly it is 76000 rupees, which is mostly the tution fees . At the time of admission i paid around 20000 rupees as a admission fees, some of my batchmates comes from different categories like one of my friend comes from OBC category who get more than 19000 rupees every year from government of India.
Campus Life :
Generally I belonged to the Bhiali which means I am local here so I only have the experience of classes but I covered the whole campus which is good in area wise, clean and well managed the fountains flowers enhances the view of the campus. And the best thing of this college is their FEST that is amazing I haven't seen the fest like this before, because the college fest gave you the first time fest experience of your life, I can say that this college is not less than IIT's when it comes to fest, The FEST is called VYOM which is organized every year, Every time there is a different theme last time there is Pirate of carebian theme before that there is Money heist theme which are very amazing.
Hostel Facilities :
For the hostel experience, I would say I do not experience the hostel life never in my life, I am local here so I never needed it. But i have some of my friends experience they told me the Hostel rooms are clean and sober they never worry about facing bad experiences, because the security is good specially for girls, every hostelers have the time limits warden do not allow to get out side of the campus at night after 8PM and there are some more rules like this which is better for security purpose.

I choose Mechanical Engineering as my course here, as i am interested in Automotive, and also this institute is near my home town. There are permanent faculty members present in institute. All lectures are done in proper classrooms and study materials are also provides digitally. There is not much placement opportunities for the students of biotechnology compared to the students of b.tech. basically the placement is based on a merit list so not All students are benefited with this kind of placements only the students who wear like gold medalist where awarded this placement. For the the students in the BTech where awarded with better job opportunities and placement.

According to Nirf reports 2023 , 13 ug(3, yr), 123 uh(4yr),1ug (5 yr) ,115pg (2yrs) and 38pg(3yr) students are placed and median package offered is INR 4 lpa, inr 3 lpa, int 4 lpa, inr 3 lpa and inr 2.45 lpa .

Placenta for whole college is going on good not ver best coz of recession but yeah core branches placements are nice specially metallurgy and chemical branch . our branch average package previous year is 8.7 lac and for this year it is 8.3 lack almost all are placed. For cse and IT branch placement is not going well as I said before due to recession . over all.avg pckg of nit raipur is 9.5 lac gor all branch.

If you are from top branches like CSE, IT then you'll numbers of internship oppurtinities but for lower branches the intership oppurtinities are less. Mostly all the student get placed through campus placement but someone left the can try offcampus oppurtinities.

From the 5th semester students become eligible for internship and from starting of 4th year companies start on campus recruitment process . Top companies visited Nit Raipur for placements are Google, Adobe, Microsoft, Samsung, Arcisium, Phonepe etc. Highest package offered was 55 lacs per annum. and for IT branch Average package was 18.11 lacs per annum.
