Remarks :
During the KCET counselling choice filling, my first preference was PES, Electronic city and second was NIE as my brother suggested this college due to its NIRF rank and seniors suggestion. The admission didn't include any GD, interviews. To take admission in this college for UG programs, we have the following ways:- 1) Management(No tests) 2)KCET examination 3)Comed-K examination 4)D-CET(for diploma completed students). These exams can be given during Pre-University education/Diploma
Course Curriculum Overview :
My rank got adjusted to the cutoff for this course in second round of KCTE counselling. Hence I chose this course. The course curriculum is good with varied different courses provided in each sem. Faculties are well-experienced and utilize best teaching methods and ensure that every student is able to understand the concept. They encourage to ask doubts and discuss solutions. Per sem, there are 2 internals and one SEE, 1 lab practical along with VIVA. Usually a sem lasts for 4-5 months.
Internships Opportunities :
Lot of internships opportunities are provided by the college placement authority like Fidelity, Cisco, Juspay, Tata etc., with good stipend. I got an internship from Trainity platform on the role of Data analytics which has different projects to do.
Placement Experience :
Placements are not 100% but is good here. Eligibility criteria depends on the companies with minimum CGPA of 6 and above. Many offers are made to different branches. Highest package is around 20LPA CTC. Average package will be usually 6 LPA CTC. My plan after getting degree is to appear for college placements and grab a job.

Campus Life :
NIE consists of 2 campuses(NORTH and SOUTH) with 17 kms apart. NIE SOUTH is amidst the city of MYSORE and NIE NORTH is located at an industrial area. Both campuses have hostel facility. Transportation facilities are also provided between these campuses. College fest named TECHNiekS is celebrated during mid year. Apart from that, branch fests are also conducted during odd sem. College has vast library. Classrooms are well furnished. Sports and extracurricular activities are supported. South college has DIAMOND JUBLEE BLOCK and a vast ground. NORTH college too has a vast ground. NIE has various tech and non-tech clubs like NISB, ONYX, ISSA, GFG, GDSC etc.,
Hostel Facilities :
Food at hostel is adjustable for both NORTH and SOUTH Indians. Morning breakfast, afternoon lunch, evening snacks and night dinner is provided with menu being different everyday but same every week. Hostel registration can be done during college admission and is moderately affordable.

For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc,shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview

Course Curriculum Overview :
There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum

The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement
BSc Physics at Jain University
Course Curriculum Overview :
Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.

All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.

For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
