- Campus not so much widespread. No playgrounds.
- Hostels are far apart from the college campus.
Remarks :
Entrance exam: NEET UG Cut off : Vary every year Admission: BFUHS official website Faculty is best here . Patient inflow is too much which attracted me towards this college. Batch size is also small which is a plus point.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Mid sem 1 exam after 3 months Mid sem 2 exam after next 3 months Send ups month before finals exams Finals exams 12th month Curriculum is based on practical study . Faculty is very cooperative . Difficult course.
Internships Opportunities :
1 year rotatory internship is done in the attached hospitals in all the departments according to the time divided by NMC. Stipend is ?15000 which may increase to ?24500 in short period of time . Good patient inflow

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
1st year fees is ?174000 after that there will be increment in fees of 10% every year . Total fees for the course is ?9,06,000 scholarship is only for SC and OBC student in which their whole tuition fees is given by government.
Campus Life :
FAMS - Faridkot Association of Medical Students Library have too much books in wide range of every subject related to medicine . Path and convocation takes place every time .there is fest also after few years
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel registration is done in college office . Mess is quiet good But hostels are not neat and clean Pgs are the best option here in the Guru Nanak colony which is in front of the college . Hostels are far apart from college .

Placement Experience :
To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys,tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
